After dinner, everyone began to leave. As they were heading out, Jin and Jungkook kept stealing glances at each other, both wishing for a moment to talk. But Jin’s family members were busy chatting with Jungkook, while Jungkook’s family was equally engaged with Jin.

Eventually, Jin and his family got into their car. Jin sat in the back seat with Aunt Min and Jihoo, while his uncle and Yoongi took the front, with Yoongi at the wheel. In another car, Jisoo and Min-kyu sat together.

Jin’s gaze lingered on Jungkook, feeling a pang of disappointment that they hadn't gotten a chance to speak. Jungkook, meanwhile, was finding it difficult to look back at Jin, caught up in conversation with Uncle Min and his own father.

After exchanging warm goodbyes with everyone, Jin and his family left, smiles and laughter lingering from the evening. Shortly after, Jungkook and his family also departed.

As Jungkook drove, his eyes kept drifting to the engagement ring on his finger, the one Jin had placed there. He couldn’t help but smile at the thought.

Meanwhile, Jin sat quietly in the car, unable to stop smiling as he admired his own engagement ring, remembering the beautiful moment when Jungkook had slid it onto his finger. The warmth of the evening and the significance of their bond filled his heart as they drove away into the night.

After dropping off his aunt and uncle at their old house, Jin returns to the apartment with Yoongi and Jihoo. Jihoo had already fallen asleep, so Yoongi carries her to his floor, while Jin heads to his own apartment via the lift.

Once inside, Jin locked the door and headed to the bathroom, washing away the day’s exhaustion. He changed into more comfortable clothes and slipped into bed, a soft sigh escaping his lips. As he reached for his new phone, he noticed a message from Jungkook. Just as he was about to type a reply, Jungkook's name flashed on the screen with an incoming call. Jin’s heart skipped a beat, and he smiled, pressing the answer button.

Jungkook, too, had changed and was standing by his window, the cool night breeze brushing against his face. But the words he had planned to say were lost in the moment, caught between hesitation and hope. Jin, lying in his bed, could feel the silent weight of those unspoken words and could only smile, waiting.

"Jin..." Jungkook’s voice was soft, almost like he was afraid to break the spell between them. "Doesn't this feel like a dream?"

"Hmmm..." Jin’s smile deepened. "It feels like I made a wish, and some magician granted it."

"Really?" Jungkook’s tone turned playful. "So, does that mean I was your wish?"

Jin chuckled, shyly admitting, "Maybe... I did have a dream about you."

"Oh? What did you dream about?" Jungkook’s curiosity sparked, his voice teasing and light.

Blushing, Jin hesitated for a moment. "I dreamt that you suddenly showed up at my apartment... I was sleeping, and you woke me up... And you said you wanted to date me."

Jungkook laughed softly. "Sounds like a wonderful dream. I think I’ll try dreaming like that too."

Jin's brows furrowed in mock annoyance. "What do you mean, 'try'? Didn’t you like my dream?"

Jungkook's gentle laughter filled the silence between them. "I don’t know if I like dreams like yours... but I like you more in reality. To be honest, ever since I first saw you, I felt something for you... something different. But I didn’t want to admit it back then."

"And now?" Jin’s voice held a fragile hope.

"Now, it’s just you... Only you. My pain, my peace, my love... it’s all you." Jungkook’s words flowed like a gentle caress, leaving Jin flustered and beaming, his cheeks burning even in the dark.
