"It Was Supposed To Be Hyung! Not Jin!"

Taehyung cut Jin off mid-sentence, sliding a ring onto his finger. Pulling Jin close by the waist, he locked eyes with him and declared,

"Until the day death separates us, I will always love you as my husband. I will protect you at every step."

Without hesitation, Taehyung kissed Jin passionately in front of everyone.

Each of Taehyung’s words echoed in Jungkook’s ears. Rage consumed him as he stormed back to his room, smashing everything in sight. He ripped the television off its stand and hurled it across the room.

"AAAHHH! You can’t do this! You can’t win this way!"

Jungkook’s voice roared through the room as he continued his rampage. Amid the chaos, a shard of glass embedded itself in his hand, causing blood to flow freely.

Just then, his father, Mr. Kim, entered the room. Seeing the devastation and his son in such a state broke his heart.

Mr. Kim cautiously stepped forward, the crunch of shattered glass under his feet resonating in the silence. Jungkook, noticing his father, turned around, his rage subsiding into despair. His voice cracked as tears streamed down his face.

“Dad… Dad… You saw, didn’t you? You saw how hyung took Jin away from me… How could he…?”

Jungkook wiped his tears with his bloodied hand, his voice breaking further.

“You told hyung to leave, didn’t you? So why doesn’t he just die? Why is he still alive, chasing after my Jin…?”

Jungkook’s anguish spiraled as he clutched his father, sobbing uncontrollably.

“He always comes between Jin and me. He’s not a good brother! A brother like that doesn’t deserve to live!”

Collapsing into Mr. Kim’s arms, Jungkook screamed, “I need Jin, Dad! I need him! Tell hyung to give him back. I need Jin… I just need him…”

His cries grew weaker as he fell unconscious in his father’s arms.

After the attack, Taehyung, Jin, Jungkook, and Jimin were rushed to the hospital.

Jimin didn’t make it to the hospital alive.

Taehyung was in critical condition, undergoing emergency treatment, while Jungkook’s surgery was conducted for a bullet wound that grazed his head. Jin, who sustained injuries, regained consciousness after treatment.

When the family received the news, they rushed to the hospital, their grief overwhelming.

Two days later, Jimin’s funeral took place. Jin attended, despite his weakness.

Taehyung remained in the ICU for six days before being moved to a private ward. Though Jungkook’s condition stabilized after surgery, he remained unconscious.

Jin stayed by Taehyung’s side day and night, praying for his recovery. He visited Jungkook occasionally, ensuring both were looked after.

Over a month passed. One evening, while Jin was sitting in Taehyung’s ward, he suddenly felt nauseous and rushed to the washroom to throw up. Realizing something might be amiss, he purchased a pregnancy test kit. The result confirmed it—Jin was pregnant, and the baby was Taehyung’s.

Overjoyed, Jin ran to Taehyung’s side, clutching his hand and speaking through tears.

“Tae… Tae… I have something to tell you. It’s going to make you so happy you’ll want to get up and dance.”
