"Heartbroken"

As Jungkook continues to stare at Jin, guilt and panic begin to build inside him. He hadn't expected Jin to show up in the middle of such a private celebration, especially not now. The happy atmosphere around him begins to feel heavy as Jungkook realizes how much Jin must be hurting.

Jin, on the other hand, froze, his heart breaking at the sight before him. The alpha he loved so much, the one he thought cared for him, was here celebrating an anniversary with someone else - his own husband. Every part of him wanted to turn around and walk away, but his legs wouldn't move.

As Jungkook stands paralyzed by guilt and fear, Mrs. Kim's sharp eyes scan the crowd and fall upon Jin. Instantly recognizing him, she makes her way toward him with a warm smile. Jin, who is still grappling with his emotions, quickly tries to compose himself as she approaches.

"Min Jin, I'm so glad you could make it!" Mrs. Kim greets him cheerfully, her voice cutting through the tension. She reaches out to lightly touch his arm, a gesture of kindness that contrasts starkly with the turmoil inside him.

Jin forces a smile, bowing politely. "Thank you for inviting me, Chairwoman. It's an honor to be here."

Mrs. Kim smiles wider, unaware of the storm brewing between her son and Jin. "You're always welcome. You're practically family!"

Her words, though meant to be comforting, only deepen the ache in Jin's chest. He casts a quick glance toward Jungkook, who is still watching him with a mix of regret and desperation.

"Welcome, Min Jin, to my son Jungkook and my son-in-law Jimin's 5th wedding anniversary," she says, her voice filled with pride. "Come, let me introduce you to everyone."

Jin is taken aback by her words, feeling a wave of shock wash over him. He quickly tries to compose himself, forcing a smile as he follows Mrs. Kim through the crowd. Each step feels heavier as the reality of the situation sinks in, but he keeps his expression neutral, determined to maintain his composure despite the turmoil inside.

As soon as Mrs. Kim mentioned that she wanted to introduce Jin to everyone, Jin's feet felt like they were weighed down with lead. His gaze instinctively shifted towards Jungkook and Jimin. Jungkook was smiling, engaged in conversation with the guests, while Jimin stood by his side, radiating happiness and love.

Mrs. Kim led Jin directly to where Jungkook and Jimin were standing. "Jin, you already know him, This is Director Kim Jungkook, my youngest son, and this is his husband, Kim Jimin."

Jin, struggling to conceal the storm of emotions swirling inside him, forced a smile as he handed over a bouquet of flowers. "Congratulations, Director Kim & Mr. Kim Jimin," he said, his voice steady despite the turmoil in his heart.

Jungkook gave a slight nod, offering a brief word of thanks, while Jimin smiled warmly, expressing his gratitude.

Mrs. Kim then proceeded to lead Jin towards the area where the rest of the family members were seated. Jin tried his best to maintain his composure, but the pain and heartbreak he felt were overwhelming. He wanted to cry, to let out the anguish that was tearing him apart, but he had no choice but to follow Mrs. Kim, listening to her cheerful words as they walked.

Suddenly, Jin accidentally collided with a waiter, causing him to lose his balance. In a moment of disorientation, he stumbled and fell into the pool. The sudden splash startled everyone, and the sight of Jin, soaked in the freezing water, sent a wave of concern through the guests. Just as Jungkook was about to rush forward to help, Taehyung swiftly dived into the pool, reaching Jin first.

The water was icy cold, and Jin began shivering uncontrollably. The entire family was filled with worry as they watched Taehyung lift Jin into his arms and carry him out of the pool. Without hesitation, Taehyung carried Jin inside the house, with the rest of the family following closely behind, anxious about Jin's condition.
