Jin and Taehyung arrive home at the same time as Hoseok and Jimin. When Jin and Jimin lock eyes, Jimin glares at him angrily before walking inside.

As Jimin and Hoseok head inside, Hoseok asks, "Are you really ready to do this?"

Without responding, Jimin continues walking toward Jungkook’s room.

Inside, Jungkook is lying on the bed. Jimin approaches him and, with a trembling voice, says, "Kookie... do you really not want to stay in this relationship anymore?"

Jungkook doesn't reply.

"I’ve loved you ever since I understood what love is. I’ve never thought about anyone else but you..."

Tears well up in Jimin’s eyes.

"Kookie... just say the word, and I’ll do anything you want. I’ll live the way you want me to. I’ll even get a good job at a company for your happiness. Just tell me once, and I’ll do whatever you ask."

Annoyed, Jungkook snaps, "Are you done? Get out of my room."

Jimin is left speechless. Bowing his head, he takes out his trolley bag and starts packing his clothes and belongings. Then, he walks to Jungkook, places the signed divorce papers on the table, and quietly says, "I’m leaving for the US permanently. I’ve informed Hoseok hyung and your parents. No one will ask you about us anymore."

With that, Jimin leaves the room. Jungkook says nothing, staring at the divorce papers in silence.

Downstairs, Mrs. Kim, Grandma, Hoseok, and Taehyung are already gathered. Jimin, trying to hold back his emotions, says goodbye to everyone. Hoseok accompanies him to the airport.

From a distance, Jin watches Jimin leave, feeling immense guilt for the breakdown of Jungkook and Jimin’s relationship.

He can’t hold back his emotions and starts crying. "What have I done? Their relationship ended because of me."

Through his tears, he adds, "What can I do to bring them back together?"

Just then, Taehyung enters the room and says, "Their relationship won’t be fixed now. They’ve both signed the divorce papers."

Jin, in a quiet voice, says, "It’s my fault their relationship ended. Jimin had to leave because of me."

Taehyung responds, "It wasn’t your fault. Kookie never valued his relationship. This is the result. A relationship can never be one-sided. It requires love and honesty from both sides, not lies."

Jin then asks, "So, what is our relationship based on?"

Taehyung’s heart aches. He loves Jin deeply, more than anything. But what could he call this contract-based relationship?

Taehyung, with a broken voice, replies, "If there’s no relationship, then what foundation could there be?"

With pain in his voice, he adds, "There’s no foundation for a contract."

He walks into the dressing room, leaving Jin behind. Jin can feel the pain Taehyung is going through, and tears fall from his eyes as he finally understands Taehyung’s feelings.

Jin mutters, "Why does this hurt so much? I shouldn’t care about you... but..."

Three months later, the complicated relationships and entanglements continued. Jimin had settled in the US, while Jungkook became increasingly engrossed in his work and gradually fell back into his bad habits.

Taehyung remained polite and normal in his interactions with Jin, but during this time, Jin began to feel a growing attraction toward Taehyung. However, Jin never openly acknowledged these feelings.
