Jin arrives at Jihoo's kindergarten to pick her up. After collecting Jihoo, they head back to the apartment, but as they approach, Jin hears the sound of a heated argument coming from inside. It's Jisoo and Min-kyu, their voices raised in anger.

Jihoo's face falls, and she clings tightly to Jin, clearly distressed. Jin quickly realizes why she had been so hesitant that morning-Jisoo and Min-kyu had been fighting even then. Without a word, Jin carries Jihoo inside his apartment, trying to shield her from the sounds of conflict. He quietly prepares lunch and gently feeds Jihoo, offering comfort through his presence.

Afterwards, Jin tucks Jihoo into bed for a nap in his room, hoping to give her some peace. As he washes the dishes, the front door swings open, and Jisoo storms in, looking furious.

Seeing the anger in her eyes, Jin walks over to her calmly. But Jisoo snaps before he can speak.

"Why didn't you bring Jihoo back to me after picking her up?" she demands, her voice tight with frustration. "I told her to tell you to come straight home-not to play mommy!"

Jin looks at her in disbelief. "What are you saying, Jisoo? This isn't about playing 'mommy' or anything like that. You and Min-kyu were arguing. I took Jihoo with me because she needed a break from that."

"And do you ever think about what you're doing to her by fighting in front of her like that? What effect that might have on such a small child?"

Jisoo's face twists with anger and exhaustion. "What should I do then, Jin? Oh, I suppose it's all my fault now, isn't it? You're just like everyone else-blame Jisoo."

"Handle Min-kyu, handle his Mom & Dad, and now Jihoo too. I juggle everything the best I can, but no one seems to care about what it costs me."

"That's not what I meant, Jisoo..." Jin says softly, but she doesn't let him finish.

With a frustrated sigh, Jisoo pushes past him, goes directly into his room, and picks up Jihoo, lifting her into her arms. Jin watches helplessly as she walks out, holding Jihoo tightly.

That evening, Jin sits on the couch, staring at nothing, his thoughts heavy and heart weary. He feels a strange emptiness in the quiet apartment. Suddenly, the doorbell rings, snapping him out of his thoughts.

He gets up and opens the door. Standing there is Jungkook, smiling gently, having come to pick him up.

Jin's face lights up with a warm smile as he sees Jungkook at the door.

Softly, Jin says, "Come in... I didn't think you'd arrive so early."

Following Jin inside, Jungkook replies, "It's our first date. I couldn't possibly be late." He gently takes both of Jin's hands, pulling him closer, and gazes into his eyes.

"I still can't believe you're here with me, so close. I thought getting you would be impossible, but now... you're mine. Only mine," Jungkook whispers, his voice tender.

Resting his head against Jungkook's chest, Jin breathes out softly, "This moment is so beautiful..."

Jungkook nods, holding Jin tighter. "Hmm... Now go and get ready. We need to reach there before it gets dark."

"Just a little wait... I'll be right back," Jin assures him with a smile.

A short while later, Jin returns, all dressed up. Jungkook can't take his eyes off him; Jin looks stunning. But then his gaze falls on the bandage wrapped around Jin's hand.

Touching Jin's injured hand, Jungkook asks with concern, "This bandage? How did you get hurt?"

"Oh, this... It happened earlier," Jin explains. "I was dropping Jihoo off at school when a reckless student almost hit us with his car. I was worried Jihoo might get hurt, so I pushed her out of the way, and this happened."
