"Not Much Difference"

That night, as Jin and Jungkook lay sleeping, Jin's sleep was disturbed. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a shadowy figure sitting nearby, watching him in the dim light.

Jin sat up abruptly, his heart racing with fear. He reached out to wake Jungkook, calling his name softly, but Jungkook remained asleep, unresponsive.

The figure moved closer, its blurred face illuminated faintly by the moonlight. It sat beside Jin and gently cupped Jin’s face, leaning in close to his lips. In a deep, weighted voice, it spoke,
"Help me..."
The words carried a strange, haunting desperation.

Jin, trembling, asked,
"Help you... with what?"

The voice, low and husky, replied,
"I told you… the waves of desire rising within me have ignited something uncontrollable for you. I can’t hold back anymore… will you help me?"

Before Jin could respond, a faint light illuminated the figure’s face. But instead of clarity, Jin found himself transported to a completely different scene.

Suddenly, he was standing outside his room in his village. He saw himself standing there, looking distressed, tears streaming down his face, as if he had been listening to something heartbreaking. Jin instinctively moved closer, peeking into the house.

Inside, an Alpha’s voice echoed softly, raw with emotion:

> "You are mine, in this moment, you are mine.

Tomorrow, this might not be true.
Something may change—you may no longer be you,
And I may no longer be me.
Our paths may diverge,
And as we walk, we may lose ourselves.

The voice grew quieter, almost breaking,
“Jin… I don’t want to lose you. Being apart from you is tearing me up inside.”

Jin strained to see the Alpha’s face, but it remained hidden in the shadows. The voice continued, filled with both pain and longing:

“If, in this life, you were meant for Jungkook… then in the next life, please be only mine. And if we ever have a child together, I promise I’ll protect you both with everything I have. I’ll never leave you alone, not even for a moment.”

Hearing this, tears welled up in Jin’s eyes. He didn’t understand why his heart ached so deeply. The emotions felt overwhelming, like a weight pressing on his chest.

The scene shifted again. Jin found himself on the side of a quiet road, watching himself walking toward an Alpha, smiling brightly. There was an undeniable happiness in their faces, glowing with love.

But then, in an instant, it all turned into a nightmare. A car came speeding down the road, out of control, and struck the Alpha with a sickening force.

“TAE!” Jin’s scream rang out, filled with pure terror and grief.

Jin watched the horrifying scene unfold from a distance, frozen in shock and disbelief. He felt his world shatter.

Suddenly, Jin woke up with a jolt, his body trembling and drenched in sweat. His breathing was ragged, his eyes wide with fear and anguish.

Jungkook, lying beside him, woke up immediately, alarmed by Jin’s distressed state. Pulling Jin into his arms, he held him close, whispering soothingly,
“Did you have a bad dream? Don’t worry, I’m here. Nothing will happen to you. I’ll protect you.”

Jin clung to Jungkook, his heart still pounding, his tears flowing silently, unsure of what the dream meant or why it felt so real.

Jungkook held Jin gently, pulling him closer into his warm embrace. His strong arms wrapped protectively around Jin, offering a sense of security and comfort.
