Mr. Kim invites Jin’s uncle and aunt to discuss and finalize the date for Jin and Taehyung’s wedding, setting it for September 15.
The preparations were in full swing, with only two days left until the big day.
One evening, Grandma calls Jin and Taehyung to her room.
Taehyung, stepping in, says, “You called us, Grandma?”
Grandma smiles, “Yes... With only two days left until your wedding, from tonight onwards, you two will sleep in separate rooms.”
Hearing this, Taehyung and Jin exchange glances, surprised.
Taehyung protests, “What? Grandma, you’re encouraging such old-fashioned ideas?”
Grandma chuckles, “Don’t say that, Tae. No touching, no kissing... just keep your distance.”
Looking directly at Taehyung, she adds, “And Tae... no tricks. Soon enough, he’ll be yours forever.”
She shoos them off, adding, “Now go... and remember what I said. Starting tonight, I’ll be sleeping in Jin’s room to keep an eye.”
Jin blushes, smiling shyly, while Taehyung sighs, rolling his eyes, and leaves the room.
Late at night, Jin and Taehyung were sleeping in separate rooms, but Taehyung couldn’t fall asleep. He kept tossing and turning, unable to calm his restless mind. Suddenly, he remembered he hadn’t even properly proposed to Jin for marriage, the way others did. Picking up his phone, he sent Jin a message:
“Jin… I need to see you right now. I can’t take it anymore… This distance is unbearable.”
Seeing Taehyung’s message, Jin immediately replied, as he too was missing Taehyung deeply. But he was still daydreaming about the happiness that awaited them.
“Just one more day, and we’ll be together forever. Try to be patient.”
Taehyung, feeling determined, messaged back, “What? No, I need to see you right now…”
Jin, a bit hesitant, responded, “Are you crazy? If Grandma finds out, she’ll be upset. She’s sleeping right next to me. And we just saw each other at dinner.”
Taehyung wasn’t giving up. “I don’t care about that. Don’t you want to see me too?”
Jin sighed, “Yes… of course I do. But… how am I supposed to leave my room?”
Taehyung replied, “Wait… I’ll figure something out.”
With a plan forming in his mind, Taehyung decided to call Jungkook for help. Meanwhile, Jungkook was in the middle of carrying Jimin to bed, just about to enjoy a romantic moment with him. But Taehyung’s call interrupted at the worst moment.
Jungkook tried to ignore the call, wanting to focus on Jimin. But as the phone kept ringing, Taehyung then called Jimin directly. With a sigh, Jimin answered the call, barely getting a word in before Taehyung spoke.
“In one hour, bring Jin to Seokchon Lake Park. I’ll meet you both there.”
Jimin, confused, asked, “Hyung… what are you saying? How is this even possible?”
Taehyung replied firmly, “I don’t care, just make sure Jin is there.”
Then, without waiting for an answer, he hung up, leaving Jimin staring at his phone, wondering how he was supposed to sneak Jin out in the middle of the night.
Taehyung slipped his car keys into his pocket, a glimmer of excitement lighting up his eyes. His heart raced with anticipation as he headed out, his thoughts solely focused on the moment he’d finally be able to see Jin.
