Jin's head throbbed with unbearable pain, his mind clouded with confusion as Jungkook's words pierced through him.
"Jungkook... Jungkook... please, listen to me," Jin whispered, his voice trembling.
But Jungkook was far beyond reason. Consumed by anguish and fury, he shoved Jin to the floor. The sound of Jin's body hitting the ground echoed in the room, followed by his soft gasp of pain. Jungkook leaned over him, his grip tightening cruelly on Jin's hair, forcing their faces inches apart.
"I thought you were mine, Jin," Jungkook hissed, his voice a low growl, trembling with heartbreak. "Only mine. But you'll never be mine completely, will you?"
Jin's eyes brimmed with tears, his voice weak as he pleaded, "Jungkook... let me go. Please..."
"Let you go?" Jungkook's lips twisted into a bitter smirk. "Why? So you can run back to him? Does it hurt, Jin? Good. Maybe now you'll understand a fragment of what you've made me feel."
Before Jungkook could say more, a sudden blow from behind sent him reeling. Staggering, he looked up to see Taehyung standing there, his chest heaving with anger.
"Stay away from him, Jungkook!" Taehyung's voice rang out, trembling with both fury and pain. He rushed to Jin, gently pulling him into his arms.
"Are you okay, Jin?" Taehyung's voice softened instantly as he brushed Jin's hair back from his face.
Jin nodded, his body shaking uncontrollably. Taehyung cupped Jin's cheeks, wiping away his tears. "Don't worry," he murmured, his voice soothing. "I'm here now. Nothing will happen to you."
Their moment was interrupted by a tiny voice coming from the staircase. "Appa... did you bring Mumma back?" Jihoo's innocent words froze everyone in place.
Jin's eyes darted to the little girl descending the stairs. His vision blurred as he stumbled to his feet, his arms reaching out instinctively. "Ji... Jihoo..." His voice cracked with emotion. "My baby..."
Jihoo's face lit up with pure joy. "Mumma! You remember me? I missed you so much. You won't forget me again, will you?"
Tears streamed down Jin's face as he dropped to his knees, gathering Jihoo in his arms. His lips pressed against her soft cheeks as he cried, "Never, my baby. Never again. I promise, we'll always be together from now on."
The tender reunion shattered Jungkook's fragile composure. His trembling hands reached for the gun in his pocket, his emotions spiraling out of control. He pointed the weapon at Jin, his voice shaking with rage and desperation. "If I can't have you, Jin... no one will!"
"JUNGKOOK!, stop this madness!" Mrs. Kim's sharp voice rang out as she stepped into the room. Her eyes were fierce, her presence commanding. "What are you doing, Kookie? Put that gun down this instant!"
Mr. Kim followed closely, his voice steady and firm. "Enough, Jungkook. This obsession ends now. You can't force love. Let him go."
Mrs. Kim's gaze softened as she gestured toward Jihoo. "Look at her, Kookie. Think about that innocent child. Because of your selfishness, she's been living like an orphan. Do you even realize what you've put her through?"
Jungkook's grip on the gun faltered as his gaze shifted to Jihoo. Her innocent eyes met his, filled with hope and love for Jin. His arm dropped slightly, the gun shaking in his trembling hand.
"But... Mom... I love him," Jungkook whispered, his voice breaking. "Jin is my everything. Without him, I'm nothing... I'll die without him."
Mrs. Kim stepped forward, gently but firmly taking Jungkook's hand and pressing the gun to her own forehead. Gasps filled the room as everyone froze in horror.
