As Jungkook exits Jin's room, he's surprised to find his older brother, Kim Namjoon, waiting in the hallway. His eyes widen in surprise as he asks,
"Hyung, when did you get here?"
Namjoon gives a gentle, understanding smile, replying,
"I just arrived a little while ago. But it's late. You should get some rest. We'll talk in the morning."
Jungkook nods silently, the emotions of the night still fresh in his mind, and heads to his own room.
Once inside, he changes out of his clothes and climbs into bed, lying back with his eyes fixed on the ceiling. His mind immediately returns to the moments he had shared with Jin-the closeness, the warmth of Jin's skin, and the way time seemed to stand still when their eyes locked. He recalls the feeling of Jin's soft breath hitching as he had kissed him, the sensation filling him with a thrill that makes his heart race. A smile spreads across his face, and he feels a warmth spreading through his chest, unable to forget the way Jin had responded to him.
Meanwhile, Jin, after watching Yoongi leave, sinks onto his bed, his heart pounding. He can't shake the memory of Jungkook's touch-the way Jungkook's lips had trailed along his collarbone, the heat that burned between them. His breath quickens as he recalls Jungkook's closeness, his words echoing in his mind. The memory is vivid, each detail as clear as if it were happening again. His body reacts, his breaths coming faster, and he feels a rush of emotions-desire a longing that tightens his chest.
The next day arrives-it's the final summit day.
Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin, Jungkook, and Jungkook's personal assistant all arrive together at the venue, ready to represent their country. There's a sense of importance and pressure in the air as they step inside the grand hall, filled with representatives from around the world. Yoongi, with his composed demeanor and sharp intellect, takes the lead, handling everything with grace and confidence. Every word he speaks, every gesture he makes, shows his expertise, and he draws the attention of the room effortlessly.
Jungkook, standing slightly behind Yoongi, keeps glancing sideways, his gaze often drifting towards Jin. He tries to remain composed and professional, but the memory of the previous night is fresh in his mind, lingering in every glance. His eyes are drawn to Jin without him even realizing it, and he can't help but admire Jin's calm yet slightly flustered demeanor.
Jin, on the other hand, does his best to focus on the event, but every time he senses Jungkook's gaze, his resolve wavers. He steals glances at Jungkook when he thinks no one is looking, his heart pounding each time their eyes meet for a fleeting second. There's a quiet understanding between them, an unspoken acknowledgment of what they had shared, and it fills the air with a tension neither of them can escape.
After returning Korea, Jin and Yoongi are welcomed by Jisoo, who mentions that their Aunt and Uncle from the village had visited. She explains that they wanted to speak with Jin, but since his phone was broken, he would have to get in touch later. Jin heads back to his apartment, feeling a strange mix of exhaustion and elation.
Once inside, he goes straight to his bedroom, collapsing face-down on the bed, feeling an inexplicable joy swelling inside him. He mutters to himself, "What happened back there... What is this feeling I'm having?"
Clutching a pillow to his chest, he whispers softly, "If... If Yoongi hadn't interrupted... What would have happened between us? His touch... Every place he touched feels like it's been marked, like... like I belong to him."
His heart pounds faster, and he buries his face in the pillow, blushing as he remembers Jungkook's touch.
