It was evening, and Taehyung sat on the hood of his car by the Han River, a beer can in hand. The cool breeze did little to calm the storm raging within him as he took another swig, each sip burning like poison down his throat. His mind swirled with anger, replaying everything that filled him with unrelenting fury.
A sudden glare of headlights snapped him out of his thoughts. A car pulled up behind him, honking obnoxiously, the lights flashing repeatedly in an attempt to grab his attention. Taehyung, unfazed, ignored the commotion and continued drinking, refusing to acknowledge the disturbance.
The sound of a car door opening followed. Moments later, the perpetrator revealed himself—none other than Jungkook.

He strolled toward Taehyung with his usual arrogance, snatching the beer can from his hand and taking a sip without permission.
Taehyung’s eyes burned with hatred as he glared at Jungkook, his jaw tightening.
Jungkook smirked. “You couldn’t even protect this beer can, Hyung. What a pathetic, meaningless life you’re living. Honestly, I pity you... V, or should I say, Taehyung Hyung?”
Then, with a manic laugh, Jungkook threw his head back, his laughter echoing in the quiet evening.
Taehyung, disgusted by the sight, turned his gaze away, his fists clenching.
Jungkook wiped a tear from his eye, still chuckling. “Ugh, Hyung. Why don’t you just die already? How do you keep surviving every single time? I just don’t get it. I’ve tried to kill you so many times, yet you’re still breathing. Look at Jimin—one attempt, and it was over. But you... you just don’t break.”
The mention of Jimin made Taehyung’s blood boil. His fiery glare returned to Jungkook, his teeth gritting audibly.
Jungkook smirked again. “Oh, and your little stunt to re-enter Jin’s life? Pathetic. You failed again, didn’t you?”
He took another swig of the beer, then crushed the can in his hand. “You know how I know? Poor Jin told me all about how a reckless student crashed into him. Seriously, Hyung? This childish behavior doesn’t suit someone like you.”
