The day had passed without Jin coming downstairs, and the concern for him had begun to grow, especially in Grandma's heart. Taehyung had been working in his office when Grandma came to him.
"Tae... I'm worried. Jin hasn't eaten anything since lunch. If this continues, it could affect the baby," she said, her voice laced with concern.
Taehyung removed his glasses and placed them on the desk next to his laptop. Rising from his chair, he gave her a nod. "I'll take him some food."
As he was about to leave, Grandma gently added, "I trust you Tae, you'll make it right ."
He offered her a reassuring smile. "Thank you, Grandma, for trusting me."
Carrying a plate of food, Taehyung made his way to their room. The lights were off when he entered, so he turned them on and saw Jin sitting on the edge of the bed, knees hugged to his chest, lost in his thoughts.
Taehyung placed the food on the table and walked over to Jin. "Jin, come on, you should eat. You haven't had anything all day."
Jin pulled his hand away from Taehyung's touch, his voice sharp with anger. "I'm not hungry. I don't want to eat."
"Stop being stubborn, Jin. Think about the baby, at least eat for the baby's sake," Taehyung urged, trying to stay calm.
Jin abruptly stood up, facing Taehyung with fiery eyes. "Why do you care? You're neither my husband nor the father of this child, so stop pretending to care. I don't need your fake concern."
Hearing those words, Taehyung's expression darkened, his patience wearing thin. He grabbed Jin by the arms and pressed him against the wall, leaning in dangerously close, his gaze sharp with frustration.
"Oh, so you want fake love filled with lies and deceit, huh? Is that what you're crying for?" Taehyung's voice was low and bitter, laced with anger. "Really that's why you deserve this fake love."
He leaned in closer, his breath hot against Jin's skin. "You don't want love that's honest and real; you want the kind of love that's built on lies, don't you?"
Taehyung's voice grew harsher. "Do you think what Jimin's going through won't happen to you too? He didn't even marry you. You're aware of his affairs, right? You, and that baby you're carrying, are the result of one of those. Just remember that."
Taehyung's words hit Jin like a harsh reality. He stood there, speechless, as Taehyung continued, his grip firm on Jin's arms.
"You think you'll escape the same fate? You were nothing but one of his affairs," Taehyung said coldly, releasing Jin with a frustrated sigh. "Wake up, Jin."
Taehyung's voice was laced with frustration as he continued, "Jungkook is wrong in what he's doing to both you and Jimin. He doesn't truly care about anyone but himself. He just wants to possess you, nothing more."
He stepped closer, his tone softening slightly. "Love isn't about building something on lies, Jin. When I saw you for the first time at Jungkook's office, I feared he would trap you in his web. But when I saw you crying your heart out at their anniversary party, I knew it had already happened. He had already ensnared you."
Taehyung's eyes were filled with regret as he explained, "I was the one who told Jimin to expose Jungkook's affairs to the family-without mentioning your name. I wanted him to fix Jungkook before it was too late."
He paused, sighing deeply. "But when I found out you were pregnant, everything changed. For Jungkook, it became easier to get you. And that's exactly what he did-he left everything behind and took you with him, making it seem like he was the hero in this twisted story."
