PLEASE DONT BE A GHOST READER!!
COMMENT AND VOTE! IT HELPS US WRITERS STAY MOTIVATED:)

the reason i always say "please don't be a ghost reader" this isnt just because i want votes, i mean i do, but ive been writing on this app for 3 almost 4 years and it helps me stay motivated because that means people are reading my stuff. and unlike other people, they have so many views on their books and i know my writing isnt the best but i love to write and it just helps me stay motivated. and i know i unpublish and republish my chapters and i get thats really annoying

Cameron walked into school with her feet dragging, the heaviness of the morning weighing down her every step. She had managed to sneak out of her parents' house just in time, escaping the chaos that erupted when her dad returned home with Sam. The yelling had been loud and furious, laced with anger about finding her at Johnny's place with Robby, tipsy from one too many drinks at Moon's party. The memory made her chuckle quietly to herself, but it was quickly overshadowed by anxiety as she eyed the bustling hallways filled with students moving about, their voices mixing into a cacophony of chatter and laughter.

"Bella, can we leave, please?" Cameron groaned, her gaze drifting over the sea of familiar faces-some smiling, some scowling. She felt like she was walking through a world where everyone else was thriving except for her. The energy around her felt almost suffocating.

Arabella, ever the grounded friend, shook her head vehemently. "It's the first day of junior year, Cam! We can't just bail already!" She spoke with a mix of determination and encouragement, her excitement palpable as she nudged Cameron playfully with her shoulder, trying to lift her spirits.

Cameron rolled her eyes, unable to completely suppress a smirk. "Just think, in a few months, we'll be halfway to graduation. It's like we're just jumping from one cage to another." Her sarcasm dripped from her words, but Arabella simply shrugged it off.

"Focus on the now!" Arabella insisted, her voice buoyant as she pulled Cameron along toward their homeroom. As they walked, they spotted Moon, who was bouncing down the hall, her enthusiasm like a bright flame that seemed to ignite the air around her.

"Hey, girls!" Moon chirped, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Can you believe it? We're officially juniors!"

"Moon, you're way too hyper for this early in the morning," Cameron joked, though her lips tugged into a small smile. There was something about Moon's energy that made it hard to feel completely down, even when she felt like a heavy weight was sitting in her chest.

"Come on, it's going to be amazing! Junior year is where it all happens!" Moon declared, linking arms with both Arabella and Cameron as they headed toward homeroom, their little trio a comforting reminder that they were in this together.
