The hotel lobby pulsed with restless energy, the air thick with a sense of unease that seemed to emanate from the polished marble floors and climb to the glittering chandeliers above. The late evening sun filtered in through tall glass doors, casting long shadows over the elegant seating areas and gleaming reception desk. Conversation buzzed in low murmurs, each voice laced with tension, like the collective breath of warriors bracing for impact. The lobby was filled with martial artists and senseis from around the world-some seated in tight clusters, others pacing or standing stiffly, arms crossed, eyes scanning the room like they were expecting something-someone-to break.

At the center of it all stood Gunther Braun. Towering. Imposing. His sheer presence silenced even the most jittery of students. Dressed in a crisp black suit, every line of his figure exuded control and authority. He looked like a general before a battle-calm, but not to be crossed. Conversations faltered as more eyes turned to him, the room gradually quieting as though the air itself dared not disobey him.

Cameron lingered at the edge of the crowd, arms crossed tightly over her chest. Her posture was stiff, defensive, the kind of stance someone takes when they're trying to feel like they belong but know they don't. Her eyes scanned the sea of bodies until they found Robby. He stood a few feet away with the Miyagi-Do crew, his jaw set, his eyes unreadable. There was something about him that always grounded her-and now, the sight of him not even looking her way felt like a slap.

Her stomach churned. She wasn't standing with her friends or even her family. She was surrounded by Kreese, Kim Da-Eun, Kwon, and Yoon-all Cobra Kai, all silent, all still. She felt like a statue among shadows.

From the corner of her eye, Cameron caught Arabella and Luna standing beside Sam, all part of the Miyagi-Do group. Arabella gave her the smallest, tightest nod. Luna didn't even look over.

Then Gunther Braun stepped forward.

"My apologies for summoning you all here so abruptly," he began, his deep voice cutting through the silence like a blade. Every word seemed to reverberate in the marble walls. "But under the circumstances, it was necessary."
