STOP BEING A GHOST READER!! PLEASE!!
i'm sorry for all the notifications but us writers work hard on these chapters. i know i ask this a lot, but i really don't like ghost readers because i work super hard on these chapters so when i see views going up but votes are not... its hard for my motivation!

Cameron sat at the kitchen counter in her apartment, staring blankly at the half-eaten bowl of cereal in front of her. The loops of artificial fruit colors were slowly turning the milk a murky gray, but she barely noticed. She hadn't really been hungry to begin with-eating was just something to pass the time. Another day, another morning spent alone.

Then, without warning, her front door swung open.

Cameron nearly choked on her spoon as Eli and Miguel casually strolled inside, as if they had keys to her place.

"What the hell?!" she sputtered, coughing as she clutched her chest. "Ever heard of knocking?"

Eli ignored her completely, leaning against the counter like he owned the place. "Go change into a bikini."

Cameron blinked. "Excuse me?"

Miguel grinned as he hopped onto a stool beside her. "We're going to a waterpark."

Cameron scoffed and shook her head. "Yeah, no thanks."

Eli rolled his eyes dramatically. "Oh, come on, Cam. You need to get out of this apartment. You've been hiding in here like a-" he gestured vaguely, "like a little emo hermit."

"I have not been hiding," Cameron shot back defensively.

Miguel snorted. "Cam, we had to break in to get you to answer the door."

Cameron groaned, rubbing her temples. "First of all, that is not breaking in, you just barged in like you always do. And second, I don't need to go to some stupid waterpark."

Eli smirked and threw an arm around Miguel's shoulders. "Actually, this isn't just about you. Sam's gonna be there." He wiggled his eyebrows. "And we gotta fix our boy back up with her."

Miguel sighed heavily, rubbing his face. "Dude-"

Cameron snorted, crossing her arms. "Right, because manipulating my sister's emotions is the perfect way to win her back." She gave Miguel a pointed look. "Did you sign off on this, or is Eli just running his mouth as usual?"

"I'm not running my mouth," Eli protested. "This is a flawless plan."

Miguel let out another sigh, clearly exhausted from this entire conversation.
