Cameron was nervous, but she was hiding it well. Her heart raced as she lingered at the back of the group, keeping her head down as the buzzing crowd filled the arena with electric energy. She felt a lump in her throat and swallowed hard, taking a deep breath to steady herself. No one could know how unsure she felt, not when the stakes were this high.

Robby turned his head slightly, catching her eye as they waited for their dojo to be called out. He smiled at her-soft and reassuring, like he could sense her nerves but didn't want to call attention to them. Cameron managed a small smile back, though her chest tightened. How could she face him after what she had done? After she had slept with Eli, who was now standing proudly on the other side with Miyagi-Do?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the booming voice of Daryl as he addressed the crowd.

"This next dojo took last year's title. But they're under new management. Can they reign supreme once more? And last year's runner-up. He may be wearing a new gi, but one thing's for sure, Robby Keene and his team are ready to strike! We also have last year's winner, Cameron LaRusso with them. She's still wearing her Cobra Kai gi and staying loyal. Hailing from Reseda, defending champions and still the most badass name for a dojo, here comes Cobra Kai!"

Cameron steeled herself as the crowd erupted in cheers and boos. She jogged out with Robby and the rest of the Cobra Kai team, the familiar black and red gi clinging to her like armor. They lined up at the edge of the mats, their heads held high as they faced the crowd.

Cameron's eyes darted to the other side of the arena. Miyagi-Do stood in their crisp white gis, their posture calm and confident. Her gaze locked with her twin sister, Sam, who was glaring at her with such intensity that it felt like a punch to the gut.

She looked away quickly, her eyes finding Arabella and Luna instead. They were both standing with Miyagi-Do, their expressions heavy with disappointment and sadness as they glanced at her. Cameron's stomach churned, but she forced herself to keep her face blank.

As Daryl wrapped up the announcements, Kreese and Silver called the Cobra Kai team into a tight huddle. Cameron joined reluctantly, standing between Robby and Tory as Kreese's voice rang out, sharp and commanding.
