Cameron was moving through her punches with practiced precision, the rhythm of the class grounding her in the moment. She felt the heat of the dojo on her skin, the focus she always had when sparring, even when the situation was a bit unusual. The Cobra Kai dojo had always had a raw energy to it, something she couldn't quite ignore despite the tension that always seemed to linger in the air. Robby, now fully in control as the instructor, was pacing between students, correcting their form and offering encouragement when needed. Cameron knew the dojo was meant to toughen people up, but it still felt off to her at times, especially with Kreese hovering in the background.

"Good form, Cameron," Robby said, giving her a brief nod as he caught her eye. Their brief, quiet exchanges had become something of a norm, despite the awkwardness that lingered between them after their breakup. She appreciated the professionalism they maintained-at least when it came to the dojo.

Cameron gave a small, knowing smile and nodded back, completing her series of punches before shifting to the next exercise. She could feel the sweat starting to build on her skin, her muscles warming as she moved through the motions. It was a kind of comfort. Karate had always been her escape, a place where she could focus entirely on herself.

The door to the dojo opened with a creak, and immediately, the energy shifted. Cameron, as well as the rest of the class, turned toward the doorway. Standing there was a young kid-maybe middle school age-looking both nervous and out of place. His wide eyes scanned the dojo, looking for a familiar face, but he was clearly unsure of what he had walked into.

"Mr. Keene," Kreese's gravelly voice cut through the moment, bringing everyone's attention fully onto the new kid. Cameron looked the kid over, her brow furrowing slightly.

"Not another Bert I have to keep an eye on," Cameron muttered under her breath, her tone dry. She couldn't help but feel a little skeptical about this kid. There was something about the way he stood there that screamed uncertainty, and she'd seen enough new recruits to have an instinct for how things might unfold.

Tory, who had been standing nearby, heard her and chuckled softly, the sound almost mocking. "Don't worry, he'll be gone soon enough. They all think Cobra Kai is the answer until they see what we really do here."

The kid flinched, clearly not expecting to be the subject of attention, but Kreese was already walking toward him with a stoic expression.

"You have a visitor," Kreese said, his tone flat, as he motioned for the kid to step further into the dojo.

Tory raised an eyebrow, glancing at Robby with mild curiosity. "You know this kid?" she asked.

Robby shook his head, looking at the new kid with confusion. "No idea," he replied. "What's going on?"
