The dojo was silent-so silent that Cameron could hear the steady rhythm of her own breathing, the slight rustle of gis shifting against the mats, and the occasional creak of the wooden floor beneath their feet. The only thing breaking the quiet was the sharp, commanding voice of Terry Silver, who stood tall at the front of the room, his piercing gaze sweeping over the rows of eager students kneeling in rigid formation.

Cameron forced herself to sit still, pressing her hands against her thighs to keep them from fidgeting. She could feel the electric tension in the air, crackling like static before a storm. Her pulse quickened, a rapid drumbeat against her ribs, but she kept her face neutral. Composed. Unshaken.

She didn't have the luxury of doubt. There was no room for hesitation.

This was her moment-to show them, to prove to herself, that she was still a force to be reckoned with.

Silver's voice rang out, cutting through the silence like a blade.

"The world is made up of two kinds of people," he declared, his voice both smooth and ruthless. "Leaders and followers. Cobra Kai, like a military unit, needs both to function successfully. So... we're gonna divide you up into pairs."

Cameron felt the weight of his words, the way they sank into her chest, heavy and unavoidable. Her stomach twisted, but she didn't let it show. She kept her expression cold, controlled, unwilling to let anyone see the storm brewing inside of her.

From the corner of her eye, she saw Sensei Kim Da-Eun step forward. Her presence alone commanded attention.

Sensei Kim didn't need to raise her voice to demand obedience-it was in the sharp, focused way her eyes cut through the students like they were soldiers waiting for orders.

"The goal of each pair," she began, her voice crisp and unyielding, "is to score a point against an opponent who outmatches you. Only strong leadership will allow you to prevail."

Cameron's jaw clenched slightly. Outmatch?

Silver gave a slight nod of approval to Sensei Kim before turning his gaze back to the students.
