Alex POV

Nat wanted to get an early start in the morning and forced me to go to bed early. I wasn't tired and still wanted to get revenge before we left. The kids being on a sugar rush from dinner gave me the perfect excuse, well Cooper anyway. Lila was looking like she was going to pass out any minute.

Alex: "Laura why don't you and Clint get Lila to bed, I can stay up with Coop and help him run out some of that energy outside. If that's ok with you of course?"

Laura: "If you want to deal with all of that," she pointed to Copper who was currently bouncing off the walls, literally. "Then the more power to you."

I waited for Laura and Clint to take Lila upstairs. Nat had left a while ago to go pack and make sure everything was ready for tomorrow. Once everyone but Cooper and I were upstairs I turned to him. "Hey, Cooper."

Cooper: "Yeah?" The kids were practically vibrating. I don;t know what he ate or how much but this can't be good for him.

Alex: "Want to help me pull a prank on your dad?" The kid's face lit up in excitement as he bound over to me and jumped on me, tackling me into the couch.

Cooper: "YES!!!"

Alex: "Ok, but we need to be quiet." Cooper nodded and pretended to zip his lips. "Good, now do you know where your dad keeps all his bows?"

Cooper: "All of them?"

Alex: "Yup, we are just going to... move them to a better spot." Cooper ran over to the ottoman and lifted up the top, moving all the blankets that covered the bow.

Cooper: "Here's one. There's another in my parents room though."

Alex: "Let's leave that one. What about the other three?"

Cooper: "the one in his truck is under the back seat, then he keeps two more in the barn. One in the rafters and one by his work bench."

Alex: "Perfect, let's go." We made our way outside stopping by the truck. I quietly opened the back door and lifted up the back seat, grabbing the bow and handing it to Cooper to hold. I closed the door with a small thud, wincing at the noise. I looked up towards the house and didn't see any movement, thankfully. "Alright, two more. I'll grab the one in the rafters, you get the other one."

Cooper: "Okay, but what are we doing with them after we get them all?"

Alex: "We are just going to relocate them. They will be all together. Just think of it like a scavenger hunt. We are just hiding them."

Cooper: "Oh, okay!" Once in the barn Cooper set the two bows on top of the work bench. He went to the backside and reached into the small gap between the wall and the bench. Groaning as he tried to reach it. "Alex, I can't reach it."

Alex: "Alright, I'll be right there, let me just grab the one up here quick." Once up in the rafters, I stood and looked around and saw the bow by the window. I made my way towards it and glanced outside quickly. My eyes widened when I saw nat standing on the porch with her arms crossed. We made eye contact and I knew we were screwed. I quickly grabbed the bow and made my way down the ladder as fast as possible. Cooper saw the worry in my face and started to panic."

Cooper: "What's wrong? Is he coming?"

Alex: "Nope, but we are going to play a new game quickly." I said as I reached behind the workbench and grabbed the last bow. Now gathering all four in my arms. "We are going to play hide-n-seek tag. Rafters are off limits."

Cooper: "Oh, I love that game. Who's it first? Me or you?"

Alex: "Neither, your Auntie Nat is going to be it. Now go hide and when it's clear try to make it to your room. That's the safe zone. First one there wins."
