"Surprised, Mr. Zuccaro?"

Gulat akong napatingin sa pintuan ng pilot lounge. I was having a rest from my training for my commercial pilot license when a familiar woman entered.

She was holding a folder and a pen. I let her in and sit on the couch to welcome her. Wala naman akong kasama sa loob kaya malaya kaming makakapag-usap.

"I can't get over about your case. You deserve justice, Mr. Zucarro. Don't you like to continue this?"

I sighed and slightly scratched my brow. "Attorney, Brianna is engaged now with someone. I heard that she's in Japan today. Just let her live as long as she won't bother us."

"I heard it too. She'll be home tomorrow, we can bring her to the court if you want." She seemed so serious about my case. "But before that, I also heard that you're being happy again with someone? And that someone, I think I met her na."

Mahina akong natawa dahil sa ngiti niya, I know that she knows too what she was saying. "I came back to Iya. I was so happy that she gave me a chance again. One of the reasons why I stopped seeking for justice is that, I don't want Iya to be involved again sa'min. I want to live in peace with her. I already moved forward. My past is nothing to me now, Atty. Llanes. But I'm still really thankful for your concern."

She genuinely smiled and nodded. "I understand. But don't worry, someone reported Brianna about her actions. I will make sure that this will be the last time na may magrereklamo about her dahil makukulong na siya. I just need more and stronger evidences against her. For now, we're just waiting for her na bumalik dito."

I felt happy hearing those. Finally, matatahimik na rin lahat ng na-biktima niya. Not only her, also her whole family who have no mercy.

Before Attorney leave, I decided to ask for something. "Whatever happens, I don't want to hear too much informations about her. Hearing about her from some strangers is already enough."

"I guess you already moved on from it. I hope you're healed and treating yourself well now."
She didn't remove her smile. "And yes, of course, I wouldn't update you anymore about her."

"Thank you, Attorney."

I started to feel happy during my training hours since Iya and I got back together. I have never been late and absent dahil pinapagalitan niya 'ko, which I really like to hear. I love seeing her strict.

"Fabio, anak, I told you that this isn't a place for having fun. You can play your ipad games with your mom. Don't you like being with her?"

"What do you mean?" Masungit siyang sagot habang naglalaro. "She brought me here."

"Really?" Halong gulat at excitement ang naramdaman ko. "Where's your mom?"

"Dad, find her."

My mood quickly turned into bad one after seeing my son answer me back in a rude way. Ilang beses ko na siyang napagsasabihan tungkol dito but I don't really get mad. Gusto ko lang siyang turuan para kapag wala ako, he treats anyone with respect. Sa amin niya rin naman kasi matututunan halos lahat ng bagay na gagawin niya sa labas. So as much as possible, I am responsible to discipline him.

"No ipad for today." I grabbed it from him which made him shocked. "I don't like the way you answer. Find something else to do."
