A Life I Never Lived

I could tell a story with a theme and a theory

But who would I be if I said I wanted to write differently?

I could talk about the time

I fell of my bike

I ended up in the hospital

On that late summer night.

I could recap my life

In thousands of words

But who would I be if I said I don't think it would work?

So I'll write and I'll write about the life I never lived

How I woke up one mornings

And realize I actually had one to bid.

I haved lived my short, sweet, and quiet life

But what if I never truly lived,

But only existed.

So I'll write about a love ive never loved,

A death I never died,

And a world I never saved.
