29| Stupid Road

"No! Lilia! Lilia! No! Lilia! Lilia! Lilia!"

Jen screamed as the pounding on the door, getting the attention of both The Maximoff siblings.

"What happened? Where is she?"

Billy asked as soon as the pair got back down to her, Alice had a feeling Lilia was back in the trial still.

"Inside. She stayed behind to..."

Jen cut herself off as they heard the sound of wood creaking, the door was now just dirt.

"Lilia?"

Jen questioned as she looked at the spot the door used to be, Alice putting her hand on the woman's shoulder.

"I think she's gone Jen."

Alice said with a sad look on her face, the other woman in tears.

The Harkness's looked around as they sprinted down the road, stopping dead in their tracks when they saw the woman.

"Your coven is shrinking."

The woman said, the was acting in stark contrast to how she was last time Valentina saw her.

"What happened to hello? How are you? My name is?"

Valentina said getting a laugh out of the woman in front of her, while Agatha just looked at her as if to say what are you doing.

"Hello, Valentina. How are you?"

Rio asked her daughter, Agatha sort of in shock that this was the conversation they were now having.

"I'd be better if you didn't keep trying to kill us."

Valentina told her mother earning a laugh out of the woman, Agatha was immensely confused by what was going on.

"That's not me. That's the road."

Rio told her daughter, she wasn't trying to kill them, at least not Valentina anyway.

"Stupid fucking road."

Valentina yelled at the air around them, getting a laugh out of the woman before getting back on topic.

"Back to what I was saying. First Mr and Mrs Davis. Then Lorna, I almost got Alice too. And now Lilia and her ghost. It's nice they took the Salem seven with them. The bodies and ghosts are really piling up. Just like you two promised."

Rio then went on to say, Rio hated ghosts for the reason that all of them refused to walk with, so the fact that Valentina got so many to go was nice.

"Did you doubt us?"

Agatha asked the woman, who was sort of pacing around in front of the pair.

"I did. Yeah. Thought there'd be a trick in there somewhere. And there was."

The woman said, the pair managing to hide their panic quite well, not that Rio didn't already sense their panic.

"You two were distracting me from him."

Rio said shaking her finger and head as she pointed at the pair, they knew the woman would have figured it out sooner or later.

"You're a big girl, mum. We knew you'd figure it out eventually."

Valentina told her mother with a bit of a laugh, while Agatha remained stone faced and silent.

"He is an abomination. Of your girlfriend's creation, might I add."

Rio responded, to say Valentina was shocked by this new information was an understatement but she managed to keep her cool, she had no idea her girlfriend had that kind of power.
