54| Expanding the Boarders

"Something's wrong I can hear it."

Alice told Inez as they watched over the twins while Wanda talked with her brother, Billy getting similar idea, magically stopping his brother. Inez had offered to watch them with Alice to give their fake Pietro time to hopefully get the information they needed out of the woman, they needed to know how she did it.

"He really does want out doesn't he?"

Both Alice and her brother heard the voice of an unfamiliar man say, as Billy magically stopped his brother, Alice smiling at Billy, she knew he'd get powers similar to their mother's.

"Whoa, Billy!"

Tommy exclaimed as he looked down at her brother's blue magic, getting him shushed by both Alice and Billy. Tommy looking at Inez confused, Inez just shrugged her shoulders, she was just as confused as the boy as to why he got shushed.

"Are you two okay?"

Inez asked both Billy and Alice, as they focused on listening, not to Tommy or Inez but to what was going on with their father.

"Mum!"

Both Billy and Alice said turning to run towards where Wanda was after being able to her their father screaming, Tommy looking at Inez once again, and once again the girl just shrugged her shoulders as the pair went to follow the other two.

"Mum! Mum! Mum! Mum!"

Inez heard Billy yelling as they ran towards Wanda, Inez wasn't quite sure if fake Pietro had gotten the information out of Wanda but there wasn't time to check that now.

"What? What is it, Billy, Alice?"

Wanda asked as she noticed the panicked look on both Alice and Billy's faces, turning her back to her brother.

"I hear dad in my head. He's in trouble."

Billy was the first one of the pair to speak, Wanda turning her attention to Alice as her daughter started to say something.

"He's in pain, I can feel it."

Alice said with tears welling in her eyes, Inez was sort of panicked by this, she had no idea that her girlfriend could feel other people's pain, what had she done. Alice started to rub her temples as the pain that her father was feeling started to get worse, it wasn't helping that she couldn't hear him grunting too.

"Don't worry, my little rabbit, your mother will fix this."

Inez said coming up behind Alice, hiding behind her as she rubbed circles on the back of Alice's hand. The reason why Inez hid behind Alice wasn't because she was scared of what Wanda could do to her, it was because she didn't want her magic to do what it would do to Wanda in front of her kids.

"Help!"

Alice then heard her father say, his voice was strained, Inez's proximity was making her feel better but not enough.

"The people need help."

Vision then said, Alice knew they needed to help her father and everyone else that they could.

"I don't understand. What is happening to me?"

Billy then asked his mum, panicked, taking Wanda's attention off the girl that was hiding behind her daughter, and back to one of her sons.

"Where is he? Where is your dad?"

Wanda asked both Alice and Billy, before Pietro spoke up,

"Hey, don't sweat it, sis. It's not like your dead husband can die twice."
