Where Boulder, Heatwave, Hoist and Hot Shot vanished off to for a bit.

"You know, for it being you, I expected you to be farther up." Boulder says, looking down to see the red bot down below him.

"And I expected you to back out of this when I suggested it." Heatwave says, pulling himself up onto one of the ledges.

"Was there actually a point in us rock-climbing all the way to the peak of Griffin Rock?" Hot Shot questions, still noticing that they're still a bit away from reaching the top where the stone griffin lays.

"I think it is to strengthen our servo-optic coordination." Hoist says, but he didn't sound fully sure as he responded to his friend.

"Actually, this isn't really much of a lesson." Boulder admits. "We've just wanted to do this for fun but we haven't had the time to. we almost managed to once, until the Mayor managed to set his house ablaze."

"I remember that." Heatwave says, finally reaching the ledge the other three were already on. "I still can't believe it was from a marshmallow."

"Wait a minute, you're telling us that the mayor of Griffin Rock set his house ablaze from a marshmallow?!" Hot Shot was very surprising. "What even led to that?"

"He put it in the microwave but instead of 10 seconds, it was put for an hour." Boulder explains. "Long story short, he forgot it was in there and it just absorbed the house from that point."

"Who knew marshmallows could be so dangerous." Hoist says. "Should we continue the climb?"

all of them look up, seeing how they still have a bit to climb up until they reach the Griffin. The sun wasn't fully up in the sky but it seemed that there time was only so limited at the moment.

"Ok, we'll go up to the griffin's feet and then break there." Heatwave says, already beginning the climb upwards.

surely it isn't supposed to take that much to climb a mountain, but Mount Griffin isn't one that people tend to scale like glaciers. The place is so small that they have multiple routes to get up there and most don't bother with it, but climbing it was a rare sighting.

They planned to just take one of the paths down to bring more sightseeing that they've yet to enjoy, but there was no doubt they were going to climb up those rocks to the highest point of the island. surely they have been a part of the place for so long but they all would agree that they never have the time to actually explore.

they eventually go to the point of their break, sitting at the feet of the Griffin. The view was indeed as amazing as it was, but once they climbed to the top of its head, it was such a crazy view.

"Woah, you can see everything from up here." Hoist says, mesmerized by the view he has. "this was totally worth it!"

'Yeah." Hot Shot says. "Is that the firehouse over there?"

looking around, Boulder and Heatwave did indeed spot the firehouse, looking somewhat small with the view they had right now. boulder decided to wave, which hot Shot and hoist followed closely after, calling out thinking they might have heard them.

"You know they might not actually be able to hear us right now, right?" Heatwave says, somewhat preparing to head off the griffin and back down to the academy.

"We know but-woah!" Hoist cut himself off as he noticed something. "Is that a brace?"

"Yes Hoist, it is a brace." Heatwave says. "I've been wearing it this entire time and in the same spot for a couple years now."

"But you have a brace?"

"Hoist, he just doesn't wear it often." boulder says, stopping the confusion. "in all reality, he just needs to stop being in a ton of danger and using that leg first."

"Wow, thanks. How about you try evading multiple different bots in the span of months and overall being hunted and tell me how you feel?" Heatwave says, then adjusting before starting to make his way. "Let's head back."

"Wait, hunted?!" Hot Shot was confused, then quickly followed suit. "Professor Heatwave? Professor Heatwave?"
