Heatwave really could've done this at a better time but nope, he had to do it now.

Being trapped in the bubble wasn't all so bad at first, they all could still talk to one another but their bodies were practically frozen in place and they couldn't contact anyone for some sort of help.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Cody asks, finding this to be a little weird since he is the only human around right now.

"We cannot do much with how things are and should hope for the quick return of the recruits so they may help with getting us out of this terrible situation." Chase responds, then seeing Heatwave out of the corner of his optics. "Heatwave, you ok over there?"

"No, I am not, Optimus needs to stop keeping secrets." Heatwave says, looking at the Prime with the best of his own ability. "When exactly were you going to mention you two became 'an item'?"

"Woah, Ratchet and Optimus are together?!" Cody says, a little floored by this discovery.

"What made you think it was Ratchet?" Chase questions, wondering about the sources as he is also a little shocked by this discovery. "Also, why discuss this now when we are in a rather dire situation?"

"It was the only one I could think of on the top of my head, but yeah, why talk about this now?" Cody says, but then notices the moment of silence. "Wait, Optimus hasn't even tried to deny it either."

"Optimus..." Heatwave wanted some sort of answer, after all, he wants some confirmation before Blades finds out (because blades would flip out).

"Do you speak to High Tide like that a lot?"

"Are you seriously questioning my choices when I am questioning yours?" Heatwave says. "Shocking that it is coming from you but no, you should be lucky I can't remove my contacts and stare you down."

"Do we really need to be having this conversation right now?" Cody asks.

"We really do not have the need to but this conversation was eventually going to happen." Optimus answers. "So, yes, all of that is true but surely, he was going to tell you at some point."

"yeah, and when would that have been?" Heatwave questions. "Were you going to wait until your frame was buried in the ground?"

"No-"

"Then when Optimus?"

"I do not believe this needs to be continued." Chase points out. "Optimus and Ratchet are together and have respected reasons to keep it hidden with how things have been for a very long time. surely it may feel like some sort of betrayal but it is like the reason I kept my own relationship away from the Burns family."

"That is a very valid point." Cody says. "It was shocking to find that out."

"Anyway, both of you can very much discuss this later when we are not in such a dire situation and are able to properly confront one another." Chase says.

Someone would've said something but the recruits showed up to save them.
