Bakugo Katsuki had one rule for his little sister. One rule. That when set at the time wasn't hard to follow. Now? Now it was almost impossible to abide by.

"I have one rule," Bakugo said as he walked his sister to her first day of middle school. He was in the year above her and very protective.

"What rule?" She asks looking at her older brother.

"You can NOT date any of my friends past, present, or future," Bakugo says.

"Okay, that seems easy enough," Y/n says shrugging.

"Good," Bakugo says noding.

Now, she was sixteen and utterly in love with her brother's best friend, Eijiro Kirishima. He was a wonderful boy who caught Y/n's attention the second he walked into the house where the Bakugos resided.

"Hey, who's that?" Kirishima asks as they walk into the living room.

"Hi! I'm Y/n, Katsuki's sister,"  Y/n introduces herself. Her heart was racing. At the time she had no clues as to why it was happening. Now? She knew it was the start of a crush.

"Okay, let's go to my room, don't bother us," Katsuki says walking away.

"Whatever," Y/n says as they walk away. 

Y/n sat in class thinking about the red-haired boy with a small smile plastered on her face.

"Who's got you smiling like that?" Y/n's best friend, Sawyer Nakamura asks.

"Oh nobody," Y/n says simply.

"It's Red isn't it?" Sawyer asks using the code name, Y/n and him made up.

"Yes..." Y/n says sighing.

"When are you going to tell him?" Sawyer asks.

"Never! He's my brother's best friend... I can't date him..." Y/n says.

"Dude, you were twelve when you made that promise. It's been four years, you can't seriously care what your brother thinks still," Sawyer says exasperated.

"I don't... but I also don't want him being mad at me... contrary to popular belief we don't fight. If we do it lasts a day. If I were to confess to Red and he found out... he'd freak out... I  don't think I could ever handle him not talking to me," Y/n says making Sawyer sigh.

"It's your heart, I guess it depends on if you want to experience true love or not. I mean, you won't experience it until you get with or over him," Sawyer says.

"I know..." Y/n says sadly.

"I think you have some thinking to do," Sawyer says.

"Yeah..." Y/n says sighing.

"Come on, the bell rang ten minutes ago, it's why I originally caught your attention. Do you  want to  study at mine?" Sawyer asks.

"No, you can come by mine... Kat is supposed to be going to the arcade with his friends," Y/n says.

"Okay," Sawyer says with a smile. The two friends walk to the Bakugoo house talking and laughing. Once there they walk into the living room sit at the coffee table and start to study helping one another when needed.

"Who's he?" Katsuki's voice says as they study. Y/n looked up and saw Katsuki with his friends.

"Kat? I thought you were going to the arcade?" Y/n asks confused.
