Keigo Takami is the most popular person in school. Labeled as a total playboy, students still fall for him every day. Lining up to get a date or a simple kiss at that. Keigo has every student bowing at his feet. Sitting him on a pedestal of honor. Everyone but one, Y/n L/n a boy who keeps to himself and stays out of the spotlight as much as possible. Being a fly on the wall is a much better activity for Y/n than being popular and boasting about the parties and places he's been to. One day Keigo noticed Y/n and fell for him, hard. The only problem was Keigo is popular and Y/n is a quiet boy who doesn't seem to want anything to do with that. Keigo has no clue how to approach Y/n or even what to say. So he sits to the side admiring from afar.

"You are staring again," Keigo's friend Touya says.

"What- oh sorry," Keigo says looking away from the quiet boy to give his friend his attention.

"Dude, just ask him out already, he'll say yes, you're you," Touya says and Keigo sighs.

"Yeah, I'm me, Mr. Popular, and in the spotlight almost all the time," Keigo says looking at Touya annoyed.

"Okay, but you don't even know him, try to get to know him then maybe you'll realize he isn't like that," Touya says and Kiego looks at him like the boy is dumb.

"And you know all this how?" Keigo asks and Touya smirks.

"While you have been staring I've been talking and his friends say he isn't the type to judge you on your popularity status," Touya says and Keigo looks at Touya shocked.

"You did what?" Keigo almost yells.

"Shh, he might hear you freak out," Touya says and Keigo shuts his mouth fast. Touya laughs and looks over to where Y/n is sitting.

"You might want to hurry with whatever you decide to do it looks like some girls are shooting their shots right now," Touya says and Keigo shoots his head to look at them.

Sure enough, there was a girl with a gift behind her back and two others behind her seemingly pushing her to continue. Realization hits Keigo and he slumps into his seat looking away.

"What's wrong now?" Touya asks not looking away from the confession scene.

"What if he doesn't like guys?" Keigo says and Touya chuckles.

"I'd look over here and fast," Touya says. Keigo does as he's told and sees Y/n shaking his head and the girl nodding. The girl hands the gift to Y/n and waves goodbye. They pass by the two boys who are watching intently.

"It's okay there are other fish in the sea, Mari," One of the three girls says.

"Yeah, I know..." The girl who got rejected says.

Touya chuckles and looks at Keigo who seems to be looking at Y/n again. Touya looks and sees Y/n sharing the little cake with his friends at the table they are sitting at.

"Why do you think he rejected her?" Keigo asks and Touya stands up.

"I'm not sure, let me go ask," Touya says and Keigo goes to grab his hand but he moves too fast. Keigo sighs.

"Yo, Y/n," Touya says walking over to the boy.

"Huh, oh hey Touya how are you doing?" Y/n asks

"I'm good, saw you had to reject a girl again," Touya says and Y/n chuckles.
