I walk around the shopping center looking through the windows and admiring everything I could never afford. As I walked past another shop I spotted a male I hadn't seen in years: Mirio Togata, my ex-boyfriend from high school. He was standing next to his friend Tamaki Amajiki. They seemed to be looking at something in the jewelry store case. I smile and sigh before continuing on my way. That is until I hear my name get called.

"L/n? Is that you?" I hear a feminine voice call out. I turn around and see Nejire Hado.

"I should've known you would be close if those boys were here. Hello Hado, how are you?" I ask and she smiles.

"I'm wonderful! How are you? When did you come back to Japan?" Nejiri Asks.

"OOh, I've been back for a few months now, why do you ask?" I ask and she smiles.

"Oh! It's Mirio he-" Nejiri goes to say but is soon cut off.

"Nejiri who are you talking to?" A quiet voice asks walking towards us. I look over and smile.

"Amajiki, hello! It's good to see you again," I say smiling. Tamaki looks at me shocked before clearing his throat.

"I'm good, how are you L/n?" Tamaki asks quietly.

"I'm good,  I have to go, but we should all get together and catch up," I say.

"oh definitely!" Nejiri says smiling. I smile back and turn walking away.

A week later Nejiri called me asking if I wanted to join her and the boys at a brunch. I of course said yes. This is how I found myself at a breakfast restaurant in the middle of Tokyo. I  walk in and up to the hostess.

"Hello, table for one?" He asks and  I shake my head.

"I'm here meeting some people. Is Nejiri Hado here already?" I ask and the male smiles.

"oh yes! You must be L/n, Hado told me to look out for you. I didn't expect such a pretty face when she described you," He says. I blush softly.

"Thank you," I  say with a smile.

"Right this way," He says leading me to the back of the restaurant and into a private room. He opens the door and there I see Tamaki and Nejiri sitting at a table with a few other people.

"Oh, Y/n! You made it!" Nejiri says smiling.

"When you said you were inviting a friend I didn't expect someone so pretty," A male says.

"Oh, thank you," I say with a smile.

"Anyway, come sit Y/n," Nejiri says pointing to a seat at the table.

"Okay," I say with a smile.

"Your eyes are a beautiful shade of yellow," The guy from earlier says.

"Thank you, although they are only yellow because I am happy," I  say with a smile.

"Oh? Does that have something to do with your quirk?" he asks.

"Yes actually, my quirk is called mood range, my eyes change with my mood, and the more vibrant the stronger the emotion," I explain.

"Oh wow, that's so cool," He says. I smile and we all sit and talk for a bit longer before the door opens again. A waiter walks in and we all order. Soon the brunch was over and I found myself hugging Nejiri tightly.
