This was going to be a Sero chapter but I couldn't think of anything so you get Pikachu instead. Also, this will be a quirkless AU because I want to focus on academics, not hero stuff. Mean Bakusquad and Jirou.

Y/n L/n is the smartest boy in class 1A even UA. He is a straight-A student and is in the best classes UA can provide. With that said he's a very quiet and soft-spoken person, he is very introverted and doesn't talk to many people.

Denki Kaminari is said to be the dumbest person in class 1A. Everyone believes he got into the classes by buying his way in or cheating for his place. Denki is a loud energetic person, very extroverted, and often can't sit still.

"Seriously Kaminari, how can you be in this class when you are so dumb sometimes... use some common sense for once" Y/n hears Jirou say to Denki. Y/n frowns glancing over at the couple.

"Right sorry Jirou" Denki says and Y/n's heart shatters at the tone of Denki's words.

Y/n decides to sit in a chair and read secretly keeping an eye or ear on the couple who seem to be fighting a bit again.

"No! Denki that's wrong, you do it this way" Jirou says and Denki flinches at the sound of her angered voice.

"Right sorry," Denki says and Jirou sighs.

"You always say sorry yet you never fix the mistake, I can't do this anymore, we are done being study buddies, I can't stand you doing it wrong even if I show you how to do it," Jirou says, Denki nods.

"I'll see you later for movie night," Jirou says and Denki nods. Y/n looks at the couple seeing Jirou walk away ad Denki put his head down looking defeated.

"She's right, I'm just a dumb idiot who can't do anything right," Denki says as tears fall down his face.

"No you aren't" Y/n finally says walking over to Denki. Denki looks up and sees Y/n standing there with a hand out to help Denki stand up. Denki takes his hand and gets up looking at Y/n.

"I am though, I mess something up, every time," Denki says and Y/n shakes his head.

"Show me how you do it," Y/n says and Denki sighs nodding. Denki and Y/n then sit in front of the couch coffee table in front of them, papers and books spread all across it. Denki then starts to do the method Jirou showed him and Y/n places his hand on Denki's hand.

"I said your way, not Jirou's," Y/n says, and Denki nods. Denbki then does the method he knows best. Y/n knows this method all too well, making him smile.

"There it is, I know the answer is wrong though," Denki says and Y/n looks at the problem and the answer.

"It's correct, I think Jirou's problem was the method you were using, which by the way is a perfectly good method to use. Especially for these problems" Y/n says and Denki looks at him shocked.

"Here I'll show you, follow me," Y/n says standing up. Denki follows suit and the two students walk to Y/n's dorm. Y/n opens the door and Denmki enters. Seeing a clean and tidy room almost pristine. Y/n sits at the desk and waves Denki over. Denki sits on the bed and looks at Y/n who is getting their math homework out of a binder. Y/n hands the paper to Denki and Denki's eyes go wide. Denki sees the same formulas and methods he uses written on Y/n's paper.

"Just because you do it slightly differently from everyone else, doesn't mean it's wrong," Y/n says and Denki nods smiling.

"Thank you Y/n for this, I honestly thought I was never going to understand it," Denki says and Y/n smiles.
