Sixteen years old, Y/n L/n looks back at the house he once lived in and walks away, not to be seen again.

M/n wakes up and goes into her son's room.

"Y/n, it's time to wake up," M/n says walking in. She sees no one in the room. Confusion sets in as she walks to the closet. She opens the door and sees most clothes are gone. Panic sets in as she looks around the rest of the house. She enters the kitchen and sees a piece of paper on the fridge.

"I love you, I'm sorry ~Y/n" M/n reads aloud. M/n bursts into tears and vows to find her son and the reason why he ran away.

When Aizawa and Yamada found out their best friend ran away, they took it hard, especially Aizawa. He never got to tell Y/n he loved him, or that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. He was devastated.

Fourteen years pass, and Y/n's parents and friends never give up on finding him.

Y/n is sitting watching the tv in his apartment far from Musutafu.

"So Eraser Head everyone would like to know, are you and Present Mic together? You are seen with each other almost every day," an interviewer on a talk show asks.

Y/n smiles looking at his old friend.

"No, Mic and I are not dating we are just friends, roommates even," Aizawa says and Y/n sighs.

"Then, do you have a significant other? Everyone is dying to know if you are single or not" The host asks.

"I am single, but not looking for a relationship," Aizawa says.

"Why is that? Is there something holding you back?" The host asks.

"I had a friend, in high school... I was in love with him, but he disappeared one day when we were sixteen. Ran away, and no one knows why. I guess I am just hoping that one day, he will show up or contact someone to tell them he is alive" Aizawa explains.

"Well, it's not something it's someone, a lost high school love, that is beautiful, well that's all we have time for with Eraser Head, please stay tuned for a talk with Ms. Joke," the host says.

Y/n shakes his head and turns the tv off. He starts to contemplate whether or not to go back to Musutafu. Suddenly the door opens and a young girl walks in.

"Dad, I'm home" the girl greet.

"Welcome home Essie, how was school?" Y/n greets.

"Oh, it was wonderful! We talked about high school and I think I want to go to UA, is that a possibility?" Essie asks. Y/n sighs but nods.

"Yeah, we can make that work," Y/n says.

"Thank you, Dad! I know it's in the town you left, and I know you probably don't want to go back, so I'm thankful you are willing to do this" Essie says.

"You're welcome sweetheart, I'll start looking at places to live," Y/n says and Essie nods.

"I'm going to go do my homework," Essie says walking away.

Y/n nods to his daughter and gets on the computer. He searches for places in Musutafu and comes across a listing that surprises him. His childhood home was up for sale and in his price range as well. He puts in a bid and waits for an email.

The end of middle school comes around and Essie is sitting with her best friend waiting for her dad to pick her up.

"Essie, where do you plan on going to school?" Her best friend asks.
