"NO! You aren't! That's the problem Katsuki! You aren't always here, you are usually off galivanting with your friends! Especially that Y/n person! I swear you are in love with them or something!" A voice can be heard coming from Katsuki Bakugo's office in his agency. A person who heard everything from behind the door frowns and turns walking away from the door.
"Oh hey Y/n! Are you here visiting Kachaan?" Izuku Midoria asks the person.
"Oh, um yeah, I was going to but it seems he is busy so, will you give this to him? It's a bento, I know he usually doesn't eat lunch so I figured I'd make something for him." Y/n says and Izuku nods.
"Are you sure you don't want to give it to him? Whoever is with him shouldn't be long" Izuku asks and Y/n nods.
"I'm sure, I'll see you around Izu," Y/n says and walks to the door.
"Oh and if I see Y/n, I will yell at her! I hope you know that!" A person can be heard walking toward the lobby. Y/n's eyes go wide and start to fill with years.
"Hey! You can yell at me all you want, but don't you dare bring Y/n into this again. I've told you a million times They've done nothing wrong, Also don't you dare misgender them again! They use They/Them pronouns and you know that!" Bakugo can be heard yelling back at the person.
"There you go defending HER again! God Katsuki I am so tired of this back and forth why can't you just listen?" The person says. At this point, Y/n is crying and Izuku rushes over to hold them. Y/n shields their face in Izuku's chest trying to stop crying.
"Okay, if you are so sick of this then we are over," Bakugo says calmly.
"Wha- What?" The person says to Bakugo stunned.
"Cleo, If you are so tired of the back and forth and me not listening, then I stay we break up. That way there is no more back and forth" Bakugo says and Cleo looks at him stunned.
"I- fine, this is it. But don't come crying to me when no one will deal with you like I did" Cleo says, turning around and exiting the lobby. Bakugo sighs and looks around.
"I'm sorry everyone, you can work again," Bakugo says. He then spots Izuku holding someone and trying to calm them down. Bakugo knows that H/l H/c hair, like the back of his hand. He rushes over, worries on his face.
"Y/n hey, hey, it's okay I promise, come here," Baklugo says taking Y/n into his arms. Y/n instantly calms when the smell of caramel envelopes them.
"Hey, let's go to my office, Deku you too, I want to know everything," Bakugo says and Izuku nods following them. They enter the office and Izuku shuts the door behind them. Bakugo sits on the couch in the room pulling Y/n onto his lap.Y/n is just sniffling at this point.
"Okay, Y/n do you want to explain or should Deku?" Bakugo asks and Y/n lets out a shaky breath.
"Izu can" Y/n says and Bakugo nods. Bakugo looks at Izuku and Izuku nods.
"Well, I found Y/n walking away from your office with this bento, and they seemed sad, I take it they heard you and Cleo fighting. I'd bet they heard Cleo talking trash about them and didn't want to disrupt or make anything worse so they walked away. We were talking in the lobby when you and Cleo came out fighting still. When Cleo purposefully misgendered them they started to cry so I rushed over and hugged them until you saw us and well now we are here." Izuku says and Bakugo sighs.
"Y/n," Bakugo says but Y/n doesn't say anything.
"N/n look at me please," Bakugo says and Y/n looks at the man.
"I promise non of that is your fault. Cleo is just a jealous bitch who doesn't know when to stop. She is gone now, so please don't feel bad. I honestly don't miss her at all." Bakugo says and Y/n looks at Bakugo sadly.
"That's the problem, Kat, she constantly yelled at you and I could tell you were unhappy. I wish I never introduced you guys back in school" Y/n says and Bakugo scuffs.
"As if, I'm happy you introduced us. If you hadn't we wouldn't be as close as we are Y/n" Bakugo says and Y/n looks at him confused.
"What do you mean?" Y/n asks and Bakugo smiles.
"Every time we fought who did I go to for comfort or support, it wasn't Shitty Hair, or Deku, or Dunce Face, or anyone else, it was you... It was always you. We got close because of that and now we are inseparable" Bakugo says and Y/n nods a small smile making its way into their face.
"There's the smile I love seeing. Come on, let's eat this bento before it goes bad." Bakugo says and Y/n nods getting off Bakugo's lap.
"Thank you, Deku for comforting them," Bakugo says looking at Izuku and the greenette nods with a smile.
"It was a pleasure, I will always protect them for you Kachaan... I know how important they are to you" Izuku says quietly and Bakugo smiles.
"Okay, let's eat," Bakugo says joining Y/n at his desk. The two friends eat and laugh and Y/n leaves happier than when they came by.
A few months later Bakugo and Y/n are sitting in his office eating like they have been since the day Cleo and Bakugo broke up. Bakugo smiles at Y/n fondly and laughs at a story they are telling. Suddenly the door bursts open and in walks Cleo. Bakugo looks up and a frown instantly falls onto his face. Y/n looks at Bakugo and sees the frown, looking behind them, Y/n sees Cleo and Y/n rolls their eyes.
"Yes, Amerentia? How can I help you?" Bakugo asks slight disgust laced in his voice.
""Katsuki, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to blow up at you... Please come back" Cleo says and Bakugo scuffs shaking his head.
"Sorry Amerentiam but I have no interest in being with you. That ship sailed the second you misgendered Y/n" Bakugo says and CLeo looks at the man with a pleading face.
"Please Kat, I was just mad. I dint mean it!" Cleo says.
"Don't call me that, Kat is reserved for friends and family. You can call me by my last name, that's it" Bakugo says angrily.
"I- Okay, I'm sorry," Cleo says and turns to leave.
"Oh and Y/n, take care of him... better than I ever could," Cleo says and Y/n smiles with a blush. Cleo leaves.
"Now where were we?" Bakugo asks and Y/n smiles.
"I was about to give you something," Y/n says and Bakugo smiles.
"Whatcha got?" Bakugo asks.
"Here," Y/n says grabbing a small cake box from their bag and handing it to Bakugo.
"Happy Birthday Kat" Y/n says and Bakugo smiles.
"Thank you Y/n, so much," Bakugo says grabbing the box and setting it on the table opening it.
Once he opens it he sees writing on the cake. He reads it, 'Happy birthday Boom Boom Boi, I love you.' It says and Bakugo moves to Y/n and places his hands on their hips.
"I love you too, Teddy Bear, so much," Bakugo says with a smile on his face.
"I'm so glad," Y/n says placing their hands on Bakugo's neck. Bakugo comes closer and soon the two are an inch apart.
"Can I kiss you?" Bakugo asks and Y/n smiles.
"Please do," Y/n says and Bakugo smirks closing the short gap. Their lips move in sync, showing Passion and desperation. Once they pull apart Bakugo looks at Y/n, placing his forehead in theirs.
"Will you be my partner?" Bakugo asks and Y/n smiles wide.
"I thought you'd never ask," Y/n says before kissing Bakugo again.
