Middle school, was either hell for you or paradise. If you had a cool flashy quirk, you were put on a pedestal, if you had what the kids determined a weak or villainess quirk, you were ignored or lightly made fun of. If you had no quirk at all? Well... let's say it wasn't just the kids who made fun of you. The teachers often laughed, along with the comments the other kids made. This is often the reason quirkless kids were outcasted and ostracised. This being said that is exactly where Y/n L/n found himself, quirkless and ostracised. When he was diagnosed quirkless his parents were devastated. Immediately knowing their kid was useless in the eyes of society. They knew Y/n would have a hard time in school and getting a job when he was older. That is how  Y/n found himself in a homeschool group of other quirkless children that is until middle school. For some bizarre reason, Y/n's parents felt the need to send him to Aldera Junior High. He walked into the classroom a bored look on his face.

"Ah, you must be Y/n L/n," The teacher says.

"Yup," Y/n says as the teacher smiles at him.

"Well, feel free to sit at the empty desk in the back, I am Mrs. Copperfeild," Msrs. Copperfield says.

"Thanks," Y/n says as he walks to the desk and sits.

"Alright now, let's start class," she says.

Y/n found himself sitting alone at a table during lunch. He didn't care, all he wanted was to get the day over.

"Hey, newbie! What's your quirk?" A boy asks walking over to Y/n.

"That is none of your business," Y/n says looking at him bored.

"Oh come on! It can't be that bad! It's not like you are like Midoriya," He says laughing.

Who's Midoiriya?" Y/n asks.

"The quirkless nobody with green hair, he's over there with Bakugo," A girl says saying Bakugo's name dreamily.

"He's quirkless?" Y/n asks and they nod.

"Cool," Y/n says standing up.

"Wait where are you going?" The girl calls out.

"To talk to him," Y/n says over his shoulder. He walks over to Midoriya and Bakugo expecting the two to be talking normally. Instead, he heard Bakugo throwing insults and threats at Midoirya. He stands there for a second before walking over to the green-haired boy and sticking his hand out.

"Here, let me help you up," Y/n says looking at Midoriya with a small smile on his face.

"O-okay," Midoirya says taking Y/n's hand and standing up.

"Move out of the way Extra!"  Bakugo yells. Y/n rolls his eyes before turning to face Bakugo.

"You have a big ego for such a small-brained human," Y/n says making everyone look at him shocked.

"What did you just say?" Bakugo said, his hands sparking.

"What? Didn't hear me?" Y/n asks.

"Hey, it's okay, Kacchan is just being Kacchan," Midoriya says.

"Oh, so 'Kacchan' is a natural bully? Wow, what a great trait," Y/n says looking Bakugo in the face.

"I will kill you!" Bakugo says making Y/n laugh.

"Go ahead, Although I will preface, that won't end well," Y/n  says laughing.

"Why is that?" another student asks.
