Y/n sighs as he lies on his bed tired.

"I hate school..." Y/n says as he turns looking out the window.

*Ding*

Y/n hears his phone go off. He sighs turning to his other side and grabbing his phone to see what the notification is about.

*One new  message* Y/n reads. He opens his phone and looks to see a message from his boyfriend.

Keigo- Hey baby bird, how's your day going?

Y/n smiles a tired smile before typing out an answer.

Y/n- It was a day... Many people were rude and all-around bullies but, nothing I couldn't handle.

Keigo- Oh, I'm sorry baby bird. I promise once we are older and out of school, you'll join me here in Musutafu.

Y/n- I know... only two and a half years.

Keigo- I love you! I have to go... but I'll message you again when I can okay?

Y/n- Okay, love you too.

Both boys send hearts before logging off.

"Only a couple more years..." Y/n says looking over at his desk. He sighs before standing up and walking over to his desk. He sits, pulls out his school books, and starts his homework.

Years later, Y/n and Keigo's relationship ended after Y/n's parents found out about it. Three months before he turned eighteen. Y/n having to block Keigo's number per his parents' demands, lost his reason to go, and never went to Japan. That is until his twenty-second birthday. Having always wanted to go to Japan but never alone. He finally has a reason, his best friend Kayoko, invited him to celebrate in Japan and Y/n jumped at the chance. This is how Y/n found himself standing in the Tokyo airport looking around for his pastel blue-haired friend. He sighs as he scans the room. He spots her and smiles walking over.

"Kay!" Y/n yells out catching the attention of the girl.

"Y/n! Omg! You're here!" Kayoko says happily as she walks over to the male.

"So I am... what's first?" Y/n asks knowing the girl set up a plan for every waking moment Y/n was here.

"You know me so well! First, we are heading to my place," Kayoko says laughing.

"Okay, let's do it," Y/n says smiling.

The venture back to Musutafu took a decent amount of time. Y/n was tired and hungry when the two got to Kayoko's apartment.

"My roommate should be home later... for now you can set your stuff in the guest room in there," Kayoko says pointing to a room with an open door.

"Okay," Y/n says walking over to the room. He sets his things down and makes his way out and into the kitchen.

"What would you like to eat? I was thinking ramen but it's up to you," Kayoko says.

"Can we get chicken? I'm craving it," Y/n asks laughing a little.
