Y/n L/n, a popular businessman's daughter was sitting in her room scrolling through her phone when her mother's voice calls from downstairs.

"Y/n dear! Come downstairs please," Y/n's mom can be heard saying. Y/n sighs but stands up and walks to her bedroom door and down the stairs. As she nears the living room she hears hushed talking.

"I just know they will get along well, It'll go perfectly," Y/n's dad says.

"Oh I have no doubt they will love each other by the time they are eighteen," an unfamiliar male voice says. Y/n walks into the room quietly.

"I just know this marriage is going to be great for our businesses," An unfamiliar woman says. She was sitting on one of the couches across from  Y/n's parents. She was wearing a beautiful dress and was next to a male in an expensive-looking suit. A teen boy beside the male.

"Where is she?" Y/n's mom says but before she can turn her head Y/n speaks up.

"What marriage?" Y/n asks making everyone jump suddenly.

"Ah, there you are princess, please come here and sit. We have much to discuss," Y/n's father says. Y/n nods walking over to her parents and sitting in between them.

"This is Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto and their son, Aiko. They own Yamamoto Inc. We were all just talking about your future. You see Mr. Yamamoto wants to join our companies, but to do that we need a significant event to happen," Y/n's father says.

"And that event is?" Y/n asks looking at her father expectantly.

"Well, we were thinking about you and Aiko, getting to know one another and when you turn eighteen you two will get married," Y/n's mother says delivering the blow.

"What? You want me to marry a random boy so you can expand the company?" Y/n asks.

"Yes," Mr. Yamamoto says.

"No," Y/n says sternly.

"Sweetheart, think about this, it'll be an amazing opportunity and you know the company is important to this family," Y/n's father says.

"I said no, I don't care how much you care about your company, you better care about me and my opinion more. I refuse to marry someone I don't know," Y/n says.

"Then you two can get to know one another first and we will revisit this idea in the future," Y/n's mother says. Y/n sighs knowing her parents won't give up on this.

"Fine, I'll get to know him, but I make no promises on anything else," Y/n says making her parents smile.

"Okay, deal," Y/n's father says.

"Good, now if you excuse me I am going to do my homework," Y/n says as she walks out of the living room.

"You let her talk to you like that?" Mrs. Yamamoto asks.

"What do you mean?" Y/n's mom asks.

"I mean she just talked to you like a negotiator, our son would never think to speak like that. He knows what we say goes,"  Mrs. Yamamoto says.

"We handle our daughter just fine, thank you," Y/n's mother says.

"Right, sorry, we should be heading out. We will be in contact," Mr. Yamamoto says.
