Walking down the street towards UA Todoroki bumps into a person standing in front of the gates.

"Oh I am sorry," Todoroki says looking at the person. He sees a handsome boy who looks to be around his age, with H/c Hair and E/c Eyes.

"Oh no, it's my fault. I was just standing here, staring," The boy says laughing a little.

"If you insist, I am Shoto Todoroki, it is nice to meet you," Todoroki says.

"Oh, um, I am Y/n L/n. It's nice to meet you too Todoroki~Kun" Y/n says.

"Is there a reason you are staring at UA?" Todoroki asks.

"Oh, um, it was my dream school. I wanted to be a hero so badly... but life got in the way and that's just not possible anymore so when I pass by I look at it... and wonder... oh sorry, I overshared," Y/n says rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"I don't mind," Tododroki says and Y/n smiles.

"Well thank you for listening. I'll see you around" Y/n says. Todoroki nods. Todoroki and Y/n then go their separate ways.

The next day Todoroki half hoped he'd run into Y/n again but to no avail. The E/c eyed boy was nowhere to be seen. This followed the next week. It wasn't until that next Tuesday that they ran into each other again.

"Hello Y/n~Kun," Todoroki says walking up next to the H/c-haired boy.

"Oh, hello Todoroki~Kun, it is nice to see you again," Y/n says looking at the peppermint-haired boy.

"Yes, it is nice to see you as well," Todoroki says.

The two talk for a bit before Y/n's eyes go wide.

"Y/N!" A voice can be heard calling.

"Shoot, um here," Y/n says getting a paper and pen out of his bag and writing something down on it.

"I know you don't know me well yet but if you ever want someone to talk to or just to listen, feel free to text or call me... I'm pretty much always free" Y/n says and Shoto nods.

"Thank you," Shoto says and Y/n smiles.

"You're welcome, I Have to go," Y/n says and Shoto looks at the time.

"Seems I should as well, I'll text you sometime," Shoto says.

"I'll look forward to it," Y/n says and Shoto smiles.

Y/n then puts his hood up and runs off.

"I wonder why he is running from that voice," Todoroki says to himself. He shrugs and walks into UA.

This pattern continues for a year. The two see each other once weekly on Tuesday mornings and text to fill in the gaps during the rest of the week.

On a Tuesday before winter break, Todoroki walks to the school excitedly, ready to see Y/n, they have been friends for a year now and Todoroki would be lying if he said he hasn't fallen for the E/c-eyed boy. Only when he gets there is Y/n nowhere to be found. He pulls out his phone and texts Y/n's number but it doesn't go through.

"What?" Todoroki says to himself quietly. He presses the call button and his stomach drops when the other line speaks.

"We're Sorry, You Have Reached a Number That Has Been Disconnected or Is No Longer in Service," The robotic voice says.

Todoroki sighs and walks into UA with a frown on his face.

"Hey Todo, what's wrong you seem down," Uraraka asks.
