I was four years old when I met my first friend. I was at the park since my mom had brought me to play with the other kids. I was sitting in the sand playing alone when a shadow covered me. I looked up and saw a boy with red and white hair. I smiled up at him and held up my extra sand bucket.

"Want to play?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah!" He says happily.

"I'm Y/n L/n, what's your name?" I ask as we both fill our buckets with sand.

"Shoto Todoroki," He says with a smile.

"Is your dad Endeavor?" I ask excitedly.

"Yeah, he is!" Shoto says smiling.

"That's so cool! Your dad is a pro hero!" I say happily.

"Yeah, he's pretty cool," Shoto says smiling happily.

That day was forever engrained in my mind. We played with each other every day until one day in January he didn't show up. I being so young was devastated. My mom tried getting in contact with Shoto's mom but nothing ever came of it.

I was six when I gained my first scar. It was a simple slash on my knee from falling into a thorn bush while learning to ride my bike. At the time it was excruciating, I felt like I was going to die. I never had a high pain tolerance as a kid.

That was until I was ten. That was when I got my first serious scar. I was walking to the store, my mom asked me to get milk and bread for us to make French toast. I was walking on my way to the store when a man came up to me holding a knife to my stomach.

"Come any closer and he gets it!" The man says looking at the person who was chasing him. I was petrified standing completely still my heart was pounding in my ears making it hard to listen to the conversation.

"Okay, let's not be too hasty," the man not holding me says. It was then that I realized I was being held by a  Villain and the man in front of us was a Hero. I looked a the hero pleadingly.

"I- I just wanted to get milk and bread! Please let me go! I want French toast," I say scared.

"Shut up brat!" The villain says annoyed.

"I was petrified so I stopped talking and tried to focus on my breathing. Suddenly sirens were heard coming this way.

"Shit," the villain mumbled under his breath before slicing my stomach and running off. The hero caught me as I was about to fall to the ground. I was screaming and crying until I blacked out. I woke up in a hospital with the Hero and my mom sitting beside me.

"Mama," I say as my blurry vision clears.

"Oh baby, you're awake, finally," she says as she takes my hand.

"Do I still get French toast when we go home?" I ask making both her and the Hero laugh.

"Yes baby, you can have all the French toast once we are home," She says making me smile.

"Okay," I say smiling happily. She kept her promise, I got all the French toast I could eat the night I was released. After that, my pain tolerance seemed to up itself.

I was twelve when I got my first scar that was always visible. I was playing around with my best friend Bff/n when suddenly he stopped and looked behind me. He looked scared so I turned and saw a group of older kids walking towards us.
