He stood in front of the mirror seemingly reciting something. A determined look came onto his face as he walked out of the school bathroom. He took a deep breath before walking towards the cafeteria. He walked towards the table he needed to go to. He was starting to get nervous but knew this had to be done. He was tired of the way he was being treated. He was tired of being ignored and dismissed in favor of his friends. You see Y/n L/n and Katsuki Bakugo have been dating since middle school. They got together at thirteen and have been with one another since. However, since they entered UA, Bakugo seemed to distance himself from Y/n. At first, Y/n figured it was because he was busy, Bakugo was in the hero course. Whereas Y/n ended up in general ed.  He hoped he'd be transferred to the Hero course eventually but nothing has happened yet. Y/n had just turned sixteen the day before and Bakugo didn't even send him a text saying happy birthday. When Y/n saw Bakugo out with his friends after saying he was too busy for a date, Y/n finally concluded that Kasuki was bored of him. Y/n soon found himself in front of a table where his boyfriend usually sat.

"Hi, do you need something?" Mina asks.

"Yeah, I do you know where Katsuki is?" Y/n asks with a straight face.

"Ooo first name basis? What's your name?" Mina asks excitedly.

"You can call me L/n," Y/n says his facial expression the same but there was obvious hurt in his eyes.

"Oh! You're Midoriya's friend from middle school right?" Sero asks.

"Yeah, I am... do you know where Kat is or..." Y/n asks his heart pounding with worry.

"Yeah, he went to the bathroom! He should be back soon, you can sit with us if you'd like," Kirishima says.

"That's okay, I'll stand..." Y/n says his eyes growing sadder. The realization that this group of people didn't know who he was hurt a lot. Before anyone could ask another question Bakugo's voice rang out.

"Y/n, what are you doing  over here?" Bakugo asks coming up behind Y/n.

"I was looking for you. We need to talk..." Y/n says.

"Can it wait?" Bakugo asks.

"No," Y/n flat-out says.

"Okay, well whatever it is be quick," Bakuso says.

"I was hoping to not have to do this in front of your friends,  seeing as they don't know but, if you want to be that way then fine. Kat- Bakugo..." Y/n says correcting himself when he goes to say his soon-to-be ex-boyfriend's first name.

"What's wrong?" Bakugo asks worry in his eyes. Y/n has never called him by his first name, it's always been Kat or when he was in trouble Katsuki, It's never just been Bakugo.

"I'm breaking up with you," Y/n says looking the crimson-eyed boy in the face.

"What?" Bakugo says shocked.

"I'm not repeating myself... you don't have to deal with me anymore, I'll stay out of your hair from now on. Goodbye Bakugo," Y/n says before walking past the Blond. Bakugo goes to grab onto Y/n's arm but he can't move. He was just standing there staring at the spot Y/n was standing in moments ago.

"I did not see that coming... that was who you were dating?" Kamianri asks. Bakugo says nothing, he just turns and leaves the cafeteria. Y/n sat on the rooftop tears falling from his eyes. He had managed to make it up here before his emotions got the better of him. His phone was dinging like crazy but he refused to look at it in case it was Bakugo. Suddenly he heard the ringtone for his best friend. He picks it up answering it.
