He sat there as he watched him flirt with her. Another girl seemed to giggle at his cheesy pickup lines. A girl. It was always a female that he flirted with. He'd never seen him flirt with a male, not in all the years they'd been in school together. They've known each other since they were 13, and since that day, all he's seen is him flirting with a girl while he slowly dies inside. He fell for him the second he laid eyes on him. It's what compelled him to go up and talk to the other teen boy.

"You're staring again," a masculine voice says gaining the other's attention.

"Sorry," the boy apologizes.

"You seriously like him don't you?" His friend asks.

"Yeah, I've loved him since we were thirteen, Sawyer..." he says sighing.

"Then tell him Y/n," Sawyer says making the h/c-haired teen shake his head.

"He's straight... I'd not only die of embarrassment but I'd also lose my best friend," Y/n says sadly.

"Whatever you say," Sawyer says as if he knows something.

"Do you know something I don't?" Y/n questions.

"Nope, not at all," Sawyer says unconvincingly.

"You so do! What do you know?" Y/n asks desperately.

"It's not my place to say, but I'd ask him. You never know what will happen," Sawyer says. Y/n nods as he watches his best friend flirt with the girl.

"Hey, Y/n! What are you doing today?" A familiar voice calls out.

"Oh, nothing much, Why? What's up Denks?" Y/n responds.

"I was wondering if you wanted to get something to eat?" Kamianri asks.

"Oh, sure, I have nothing else to do," Y/n says with a smile.

"Awesome, do you mind if Jiro tags along?" Kaminari asks.

"Of course not," Y/n says with a smile.

"Great!" He says grabbing his phone and texting the girl.

"So you two seem to be getting along more," Y/n says holding back his bitter tone.

"Who? Me and Jiro?" Kaminari asks.

"Yeah, I saw you two laughing at lunch," Y/n says.

"Oh, yeah, she was laughing at my jokes, it's nice to get along with her more," Kaminari says.

"Hey guys!" Jiro says as she walks up to them.

"Hey Jiro," Kaminari says smiling like a love-sick puppy dog.

"Hey," Y/nm says waving slightly at the girl.

"Ready?" She asks.

"Yeah," Kaminari says enthusiastically. 

"Yup," Y/n says with a fake smile.

The group of three walks out of the school and to the gates of UA.

"So how are classes going L/n?" Jiro asks with a smile.

"They are going good, not too hard to be honest," Y/n responds shrugging.

"Well, class is going great for us too, right Jiro,"  Kaminari says.

"Yup," Jiro says with a smile. 

The group gets to the restaurant and grabs food. Y/n sits there watching as Kaminari flirts and jokes with Jiro. Y/n sat there almost feeling like he was third wheeling on a date.
