Dahyun stood at Jihyo's door, arms crossed. "Get up. You've been moping for days, and I'm not letting you rot in bed."

Jihyo groaned, burying her face into the pillow. "Go away, Dahyun."

"Nope. Up. Now. We're jogging," Dahyun declared, yanking Jihyo's blanket off.

"I hate jogging," Jihyo grumbled as she reluctantly sat up.

"Exactly why we're doing it. Misery loves company," Dahyun quipped.

---

They were both jogging in silence, their breaths heavy. In the middle of their jog, Jihyo slows down and collapses onto the grass.

Dahyun flops down beside her, panting. "See? Isn't this better than crying in bed?"

Jihyo chuckles dryly. "Jun Wan broke up with me."

Dahyun's expression softens. "Oh."

Jihyo stares at the sky. "He said I'm not committed enough."

Dahyun lays down beside her. "Men are trash."

They both laugh bitterly.

"Maybe I'll write a book about failed relationships," Jihyo says. "Chapter one: The Men Who Suck."

"Chapter two: Why Jogging Should Be Illegal," Dahyun adds, grinning.

Jihyo smiles for the first time in days. "We're never doing this again."

"Never," Dahyun agrees.

"Dahyun."

"Hmm?"

"Nevermind!"

Dahyun turned to her whining "Oh come on! You can't call my name like that and tell me it's nothing!"

"Really, it's nothing "

"Park Jihyo, I know you enough to know something is up. What is it!?" then even before Jihyo can answer her pager beeped. "Saved by the bell" she said while showing off her pager to Dahyun.

Later in the hospital, Jihyo is assisting Dr. Kim Jun Wan in a surgery while Dahyun is in another OR assisting Dr. Kang Dong Joo.

Jun Wan quizzes Jihyo. "What's the key consideration for a thoracic aortic aneurysm repair?"

"Preventing spinal cord ischemia," Jihyo answers confidently.

"Good. And the-" Jun Wan stops mid-sentence as Jihyo wobbles.

"Dr. Park?" he asks, concerned.

Jihyo's vision blurs. "I'm fine, I-" She collapses.

"Jihyo? Jihyo! Somebody do something!" Jun Wan said looking very concerned. And when he was about to drop everything he was stopped by Nayeon "We got this Dr. Kim"

"Someone get a gurney!" Jun Wan yells, panic in his voice.

Dr. Im Nayeon, who had been observing from the gallery with Sana, rushes down. "Dr. Kim, your patient is on the table. Jihyo is ours. Focus!"

Jun Wan hesitates, his hands trembling.

"Now!" Nayeon orders sharply.

"Dr. Im, once you find an answer update me immediately." Jun Wan said as he sees them rolling her out "Nayeon, do you understand?!"

"Yes, Dr. Kim!"

Sana and Nayeon roll Jihyo out. As they do, Jihyo weakly grabs Sana's arm. "Sana, I'm- I'm pregnant, 6 weeks pregnant" she whispers.

Sana freezes, her eyes wide.

Nayeon glances at her. "Minatozaki, go find Dr. Kim Jisoo and be discreet, don't let anyone know."

---

In another OR, Dahyun's pager keeps beeping.

"It's yours Dr. Kim." the nurse said but Dahyun ignored it focusing on the patient but the beeper keeps beeping. "Answer that already or I'll kick you out of this OR, now!" Dong Joo said.

Dahyun looked towards the nurse and asked her to read it, "Dr. Kim, it's 9-1-1."

"What? I don't have a post op patient."

"It's Dr. Park."

"Dr. Kang," she says urgently to Kang Dong Joo. "I have to go."

"You're not going anywhere," Dong Joo replies sternly. "We're in the middle of-"

"It's Jihyo, and for whatever it's worth, I'm going," Dahyun interrupts, already pulling off her gloves.

Dong Joo sighs. "Go."

Dahyun sprints down the hall, her heart pounding. She reaches the OR where Jihyo is being treated but is stopped by Nayeon.

"Let me in," Dahyun demands.

"No," Nayeon says firmly.

"I'm a doctor-"

"No, right now, you're not her doctor, you're not her intern. Right now you are her family," Nayeon cuts in. "And family is banned from the OR. We can't have you here. Trust me, Dahyun. We've got this."

Dahyun slumps against the wall, her fists clenched.

---

Jihyo wakes up in a hospital bed, groggy. Dahyun is sitting beside her, scrolling through her phone.

"So... I'm your emergency contact person ha?" she mockingly said

"You are?" Jihyo jokingly replied.

Dahyun smirks. "You're welcome."

They share a quiet moment before Dahyun speaks again. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was scared," Jihyo admits. "It's not exactly 'good timing.'"

"And getting a call from an OR is obviously not the best timing either," Dahyun says, her voice soft but firm. "why would you hide this kind of thing. You have me, Sana, Yoongi and even Jungkook."

"I know," Jihyo whispers "It's just tha-"

Before she can finish, the door opens, and the other interns pile in.

"Park Jihyo, giving us heart attacks now?" Jungkook teases.

"You owe me coffee," Yoongi adds.

Sana smiles warmly. "Glad you're okay."

The group chatters and jokes until the room feels lighter.

---

After everyone leaves, Jun Wan steps in, looking nervous.

"Jihyo," he starts, his voice shaky. "I'm sorry."

She looks away.

"I thought breaking up was what's best for us," Jun Wan confesses. "But when I saw you collapse, I realized I can't lose you. Not again."

Jihyo turns back, tears brimming. "Jun Wan, you don't get to decide what's best for me. I do."

He nods, his expression filled with regret. "You're right. And I want to make it right... if you'll let me."

Jihyo's lips tremble, but she nods. "Don't you dare walk away from me again."

Jun Wan smiles, relief washing over him. "I promise."

Jun Wan then sat by Jihyo's side, holding her hand.
