Sana pushed open the door to Suho's room, balancing a tray with two glasses and a bottle of apple juice. The afternoon sun filtered through the blinds, casting soft shadows on the white hospital walls. Suho, propped up on a mound of pillows, turned his head and smiled.
"Apple juice?" he teased, eyes sparkling. "I was expecting champagne. You know, for our first date."
Sana smirked, setting the tray down on the small bedside table. "You think this is a date? Bold of you." She poured the juice, handing him a glass. "For the record, I've worked hard to get a cute boy in bed before."
Suho chuckled, taking a sip. "Cute, huh? Keep going. I like where this is headed."
"Don't let it go to your head," she shot back, settling into the chair beside his bed. "Your blood pressure's already high enough."
Their laughter echoed softly, filling the room. For a moment, they sat in companionable silence. Then, Suho leaned back, his expression turning contemplative.
"Do you believe in karma?" he asked suddenly, his voice quieter.
Sana tilted her head, considering. "Yeah, I do. Why?"
He met her gaze, a small smile playing on his lips. "I think you might be mine."
She raised an eyebrow. "You must've been really good to deserve me."
"I was," he said with a grin. "At least, I like to think so."

The Hallway
Sana hurried down the corridor, catching up with Dahyun and Jihyo. They were following Dr. Im Nayeon, who was juggling a chart and a baby carrier strapped to her chest. The baby inside, Haruto, was squirming but quiet for the moment.
Jihyo nudged Sana. "You need to take Yoongi back," she whispered. "Jun-wan and Yoongi are bonding, and it's getting weird."
Dahyun chimed in, glancing over her shoulder. "Seriously. We can't have things staying like this."
Before Sana could respond, Jungkook appeared, falling into step beside her. "Ignoring my calls now?" he asked, his voice low and teasing.
She shot him a look. "Why would I do that?"
"Good question," he muttered. His eyes flicked to Yoongi, who was ahead of them, talking with Nayeon. "Nice hair, by the way," Jungkook added, smirking at Yoongi's freshly dyed locks.
Yoongi barely spared him a glance. "Jealous?"
"Hardly," Jungkook scoffed. "Sana, you free later?"
"Busy," she replied curtly, focusing on her clipboard.
Jungkook fell silent but kept pace with them.

In Suho's room, Sana and Jungkook presented his case. Suho leaned back in his chair, listening as they laid out the treatment plan.
"I'm turning 37 in three weeks," Suho interjected at one point. "Not exactly the milestone I was hoping for."
Sana gave him a sympathetic smile. "We're working on it."
Jun-wan, the attending cardiothoracic surgeon, nodded thoughtfully. "One of you needs to monitor him closely. Around the clock."
"I'll do it," Sana said immediately.
Jungkook raised a hand. "I can stay too."
Jun-wan glanced between them. "Fine. Both of you. Call me if there's even a little abnormalities in his vitals."
