logan and chris were on their way to meet autumn, winter, and taraji at the mall, so the girls could go shopping and catch up. tarajis parents, along with melody, were out getting gifts for autumn and winter. fantasia, bry, and her parents were at the beach with jen.

"autumn, ask logan which side they park on."

"where are you guys parked?" autumn asked logan through the call.

"in the front. do you guys see me waving?"

"umm.....no– oh yeah, i see you! mom hurry, she's right there."

"okay okay im hurrying."

"it's not that serious."

"winter shut up. you don't have any friends so you wouldn't get it."

"blah blah."

the car came to a stop, and autumn jumped out, running to hug logan.

"lo lo!"

"autumn!"

taraji approached chris with her hand outstretched.

"nice to meet you. im taraji."

"its nice to finally meet you guys. im chris, this is my daughter logan." they shook hands.

"i met logan a few times."

"ms.h!!"

"hi, logan. you okay?"

"yeah, im fine."

"thats good. this is my daughter winter, and that's autumn."

"hello winter and autumn, nice to meet you both. oh, and trust me, almost everyone in my house knows who autumn is, and they've never even met her– logan speaks highly of her every day!"

"really?"

"yeah, ask anyone. they would tell you who logans friend is in seconds."

"ask my people who autumn calls every single day, and i bet they'll give you logans name."

"can we go inside the mall now?" winter said, growing frustrated.

they all went inside. autumn and logan were walking further up talking while chris and taraji stayed back talking about the party. winter was just following along.

"im gonna have her and winters first party at the airbnb, and then im gonna take them somewhere fun. i need to find some more activities."

"dont worry, i got you on that. is it okay if i take your number just to send ideas?"

"fasho." taraji put her number in his phone, and he saved it, "also, feel free to bring some of your people too. any kids, brothers, anybody."

"my nephew and sister are gonna love it. is it okay for my parents to attend as well?"

"if they all cool peoples, of course."

"for sure. i’ll let them know."

the next day, me and melody got up super early so that we could add a few more decorations to the house. we had to start decorating at 3 in the morning because they wouldn't go to sleep for nothing in this world. it's currently 5, and we have to add just a few more touches.

the chef i booked was gonna be here at 8– my kids wake up super early when they know something is about to happen so i wanted the breakfast table to be set up before they got up.
