y/n was patiently waiting for her fiancé to get home from work and it was nearing 7pm. She was just getting a little work done from home in the meantime while drinking some tea and having a tea bag prepared for Sangyeon too for when he arrives home.

Before she knew it, she heard the front door click open and Sangyeon came in seconds later to where y/n was on her laptop on the kitchen island.
y/n was beaming when she saw him and was a little surprised that he's already home as he usually calls her when he's on his way, but this time he didn't, and she didn't even check his location so this meant she couldn't make tea prior to Sangyeon's arrival, like she usually does.

"Hey baby~" her smile dropped when she immediately noticed that he was in a bad mood.
"Hey." he replied in a grumpy tone, brushing past her and getting something out the fridge.
"What's wrong?" she asked softly.
"Nothing." he said, his tone the same as he sat down and waited for the leftovers he got from the fridge to warm up in the microwave.
"O..kay." her voice was scraping silence as she walked over to the kettle and boiled some water to make her fiance's tea despite his angered demeanor. She didn't want to rush him into telling her anything so she ignored it for the time being.

"Can you pass me a glass of water?" he asked her.
"Yeah." she said.

Just as she was about to hand it to him, the kettle clicked so she placed the glass of water in front of him and went back to the kettle.
"I said pass it to me not put it down in front of me." Sangyeon remarked.

This left her to stop and stare at him in quite a bit of shock.
"Sangyeon..." she said in a taken aback but firm tone.

He put his phone down and covered his mouth after realising what he'd said.
"Sorry. I'm so sorry baby." he said, finally in a different tone.
"What is wrong with you today? You got home five minutes ago and you haven't looked me in the eye since or given me a hug, or a kiss. I get it if you had a bad day and don't wanna talk about something but if something's genuinly bothering you and you wanna get it out the way rather than taking it out on me you know I'm here to listen." she said, somehow managing to keep her softness constant.

She turned around and poured his tea in the mug while also getting his food out the microwave and giving it to him, all while he was in silence.
She walked round and shut her laptop, putting all her stuff to one side.

Sangyeon then got up and walked over to y/n to hug her from the back.
"I'm sorry my love." he said softly this time, and quietly, right next to her ear.

She turned around and hugged him properly before he gave her a cheek kiss.

"It's just that my boss at work today... told me I'm not working hard enough, when he's the one distributing the work unevenly. I almost always get the smallest ratio of work compared to my co-workers, one in particular, and he's getting praised when he does jackshit and I end up doing most of his work for him. And that doesn't get recognised. And then he has the audacity to not say anything when he obviously heard the conversation and act as if I'm not the one doing the work for him that he still gets paid for." Sangyeon finally confessed.

"Ugh, that's so annoying. Just tell your boss you're doing all of his work and maybe he'll give you a raise or something. Besides, it's not your responsibility to do his work, Sang. He needs to realise he's a lazy idiot and needs to actually do something." she said to him.
"Yeah, I'll take action as soon as possible. Sorry for taking it out on your babe." Sangyeon said, all pouty.

She giggled and couldn't resist kissing his plump lips.

"It's okay Sang." y/n smiled. "now, you wanna go get some sleep?"
