Riwoo's POV Me and my girlfriend, y/n were cuddled up on my bed, talking about our favourite songs and why we like them.
Today's our one month anniversary of dating so we haven't been together that long, and I'm quite shy so it takes me time to warm up in relationships. Well this is my first serious one, but you get the gist. But y/n thinks I'm cute whenever I act shy. We had our first kiss yesterday and it felt like the best thing in the world, but I was too shy to ask for more or to express how happy I was and I feel like a horrible boyfriend. So it might be a good time to tell her now, just so she knows.
"y/n, about yesterday, I'm so sorry I didn't really say much after the kiss. I was going to but the words never left my mouth, so I'll say it to you now because I could hardly sleep last night since I felt horrible like I was being a horrible boyfriend for not saying anything after something so special. So what I was gonna say was I really loved the kiss, and it meant so much to me. You mean the world to me, and I love you." I said, smiling at her and then shyly kissing her cheek, actually wanting to kiss her lips but I was too, you guessed it, shy to do so. She then started giggling. "Riwoo you're so adorable, you weren't being a horrible boyfriend just because you didn't say anything after the kiss. I get that your shy, that's just who you are, and still warming up to the relationship side of things. Take your time, yeah? No rush." she said and then smiled at me warmly to which I smiled back. "But I love you too" she said to me, making me giggle.
It's still hard to believe that I became friends with the girl I've had a crush on for the past three years and then got together with her. Which doesn't help shyness.
I really really wanted to kiss her lips but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I kept glancing at her lips, hoping that she wouldn't notice.
But then she said "why do keep looking at my lips? If you want a kiss, then just go ahead." she said calmly. "Heh, alright alright" I said.
She let me initiate the kiss so I went in so gently that our lips were barely touching, but then y/n pushed hers closer to mine, fully closing the gap, leaving me flustered. But I kissed back nevertheless. As we pulled away I felt that my cheeks were hot and y/n was smiling at me. Once again, I returned the smile and we both ended up giggling.
"Do you wanna go get some ice cream, love?" she asked, leaving me taken aback by the new nickname, but I gladly agreed nevertheless.
I love y/n so much, words can't describe it, and they quite literally won't even do that especially if I'm this shy. But I love her with my all and I hope nothing bad ever happens to her, or us, or our relationship.
