y/n and Junghoon were always a cute couple that everyone liked. They were perfect for eachother - same interests, same goals, similar opinions, etc cetera. That doesn't mean that their journey there was the best though. Junghoon was in so much pain at the time they met, both physically and mentally. He was in deep depression and anxiety from his mother dying along with mid term exams in the same time period. Even one simple thought of his mother brought tears to Junghoon's eyes so when studying, this would really not balance out well.
But when y/n sat next to him in a lecture, she immediately noticed something was wrong. His mannerisms were enough to let y/n know that he wasn't in a great place at the moment. So, she asked if he was okay and if she could help with anything. And just like that, they hit it off and she helped Junghoon with his work - they revised together, chatted, got along really well and to his surprise, Junghoon got great scores in the mid term exams. If it wasn't for y/n, he thought, he would've gotten less than 30%.
Soon, the two started hanging out more and more, and before you know it, they started going out together. People immediately fell in love with the way the two lovebirds treated eachother, even if Junghoon appeared a little cold on the outside to strangers. That made their relationship even stronger though, and to this day they love eachother. And it also marks their one year together.
"y/n, I have to tell you something." Junghoon says as they were sitting at a fancy bar for their anniversary. "Yeah?" she asked, sipping on her cocktail.
"I might've said it a million times, but this time I have to officially thank you for pulling me out of such a dark place in my life at the time we met. Not only did we click like magnets, but you were so thoughtful and patient with me. You were the reason I got more than 80% in those exams, you were the reason for my happiness. And you still are. So I wanna let you know that I'm happy as can be because I'm with you. I never realised, but I've never been this happy with anyone before in my entire life. I feel great and rather comfortable in my own skin. So yeah, I love you dearly, Song y/n.
"I love you more." she smiled widely and the two shared a kiss at the bar with glowing LED lights and a fair few people in there. The atmosphere was great and was obviously lifted by the kiss and Junghoon's little speech to his girlfriend.
Once they arrived home to their own dorm rooms, y/n waited for her roommate to go shower before she pulled out her voodoo doll from under her bed. "At last, I can take these out. They paid off." she mumbled while plucking each eight pins out of the voodoo doll's body.
Once she was done, she placed all those pins back under her bed and smiled at the doll, excitedly squealing a little "perfect" before placing it back under her bed as if she never did anything.
The next morning, y/n woke up to texts from Junghoon basically saying how he feels like a completely new man and that's when y/n felt refreshed for the first time in years because...
Junghoon was someone y/n always adored and she wanted him all to herself, and she decided she'd do that whether it's through thick or thin. Well, she chose thick, because she wanted him as fast as possible. She succeeded in the getting into a relationship part, but she also wanted Junghoon to recover from the depression and anxiety.
And now, her plan has succeeded.
