A/N: A slightly shorter one than usual but i didn't know how to continue from the end of this so ending it where i did worked
Aurora's fingers continued to trace through Leah's hair as she relaxed on the couch, a small smile playing at her lips. There was a softness in the air between them, the kind that came from a shared understanding, love, and the depth of their bond. She looked down at Leah, the warmth of her hand still in her hair, and gently asked, "So, are you ready to talk about a baby?"
Leah sat up immediately, her eyes wide with excitement, a grin tugging at her lips. Her eagerness was obvious, her energy practically radiating from her. "Yes," she said, her voice breathless with anticipation. "I've been waiting for this."
Aurora laughed softly, the sound full of affection for Leah's boundless enthusiasm. She ran a hand through her hair one more time before pulling her hand back and resting it on the couch. "You're so eager," she teased, her voice light.
Leah's smile softened as she quickly added, "We don't have to if you don't want to, Rory. I just... I've been thinking a lot about it. A lot about us."
Aurora met her eyes, raising an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "I'm not saying I don't want to," she replied, her voice playful but laced with some seriousness. "I'm just saying we need to think about it. It's a big decision."
Leah nodded, her hands resting in her lap as she looked up at her wife with affection. "I've been thinking about it, Rory," she admitted, her voice full of warmth. She took a deep breath, her excitement turning into more thoughtful words as she began to explain. "I think about how beautiful you'd look pregnant again—how incredible it would be to see you carrying our baby, your belly growing. It would be even more beautiful than last time. I can already picture it, and it makes me so happy."
Aurora smiled, her heart swelling at the words. But she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "What else have you been thinking about?" she asked, her voice soft but teasing.
Leah leaned in slightly, her hand resting on her stomach as she thought for a moment. "I think about how good Mateo would be as a big brother," she continued. "He's already so loving and protective. I can see him helping us, maybe a little bit stubborn about it at first, but ultimately being the sweetest big brother. He'll be there, teaching the baby how to play with dinosaurs and sharing everything. It would be so special."
Aurora's heart skipped a beat, her smile widening as she thought about their little boy. "I like the sound of that," she said softly, a fondness in her voice.
Leah continued, her tone quieter but full of hope. "I think about how our family will grow. Mateo would have a sibling. We'd have another little one to love and take care of. I think about the late-night feedings, the chaos of it all, and how we'd do it together. I think about how we'll always be there for each other, for our kids, just like we always have."
Aurora smiled, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "You really have thought about this," she teased. "But do you think we can cope with a one-year-old and a newborn, Le?"
Leah's gaze softened, and she nodded, an undeniable conviction in her voice. "Well, actually," she said with a playful glint in her eyes, "Teo would be at least two by the time baby number two comes along. That would make a big difference, don't you think?"
Aurora laughed, shaking her head with affection. "That's true," she said, the thought settling into her mind.
Leah gently moved closer, her hand sliding beneath Aurora's top, resting just above her stomach. "We don't have to, but... can you imagine it?" she asked softly, her fingers tracing the soft curve of Aurora's body, a tender warmth in her touch.
