The early morning light filtered through the curtains of Leah's bedroom, casting a gentle glow on the figure that lay beside her. Leah stirred awake, her hand instinctively reaching out to the warm space beside her. Aurora, lay curled up on her side, her bump now unmistakably large.

"It's been a couple of months now," Leah whispered to herself, watching Aurora breathe softly in her sleep. She couldn't help but marvel at how much their lives had changed since Aurora returned home, pregnant and weary, yet filled with an undeniable sense of anticipation.

As if sensing Leah's gaze, Aurora stirred, blinking her eyes open with a yawn. Her hand instinctively rested on her belly, feeling the slight kicks and movements that had become a regular part of her day.

"Morning," Aurora murmured, her voice husky with sleep.

"Morning, love," Leah replied, leaning over to press a gentle kiss on Aurora's forehead. "How are you feeling today?"

Aurora shifted slightly, "I'm okay," she sighed, "just sore back and these crazy mood swings."

Leah chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair away from Aurora's face. "You've been a trooper, you know that? I don't know how you're putting up with it all."

Aurora smiled tiredly, her fingers tracing lazy circles on Leah's arm. "I don't know how you're putting up with me," she admitted with a hint of amusement

"Aurora," Leah whispered softly, concern flickering in her eyes as she watched Aurora sit up against the pillows, her expression serious.

"We need to talk," Aurora said, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of urgency.

Leah's heart skipped a beat. She sat up quickly, her mind racing through a thousand possibilities, each more terrifying than the last. "What is it? Is something wrong?" Leah asked, trying to keep her voice steady despite the rising panic.

Aurora reached out, taking Leah's hand in hers. "No, no, it's nothing bad, I promise," she reassured, squeezing Leah's hand gently. "I just... I've been thinking."

Leah's brow furrowed, her worry slowly easing into curiosity. "About what?"

"Well," Aurora began, her voice steady but tinged with uncertainty, " Your place is nice and all, but mine is bigger. Maybe we should consider moving there instead of staying here."

Leah's brow furrowed slightly, her heart skipping a beat at the suggestion. She looked into Aurora's eyes, searching for the meaning behind her words. "You said 'we'," Leah replied softly, a hint of concern in her voice.

Aurora met Leah's gaze squarely. "Well, yeah," she admitted, her voice a mixture of hope and worry. "You said you're in this with me, right? You haven't changed your mind, have you?"

Leah reached out, taking Aurora's hands in hers, her expression earnest. "No," she said quickly, shaking her head. "I'm not changing my mind. I want you and bump, and I think you're right—your place is bigger. Maybe we should move there and set up the nursery."

Aurora's face softened with relief, a small smile spreading across her lips. "Yeah," she agreed softly, her eyes brightening. "We need to get to doing that."

Leah nodded, her own smile growing. "Okay, how about we take a few things over to yours later today and start ordering stuff for the nursery?"

Aurora nodded in agreement, but then her expression turned serious again. "It's not mine, Leah," she said gently, her voice filled with emotion. "It's ours now."

Leah's eyes widened slightly at Aurora's words, touched by the depth of her sentiment. She leaned in, cupping Aurora's face in her hands and pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "Ours," Leah repeated softly, her heart swelling with love.
