A/N: SEXUAL CONTENT in this chapter - it is not the steamy celebratory night yet.
Leah let her head fall onto Aurora's stomach, arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close as if she were something precious. Aurora's fingers threaded through Leah's hair, stroking gently, her touch warm and comforting. She looked down at Leah, watching her close her eyes and relax into the embrace, letting the moment sink in.
"I'm so happy," Leah murmured, the words barely a whisper.
Aurora smiled, her hand gently stroking down Leah's temple. "Yeah?"
"Yeah, baby," Leah mumbled, the words coming out soft and a little rough, as if the happiness was so overwhelming it hurt. "So fucking happy."
Aurora chuckled softly. "Me too, mi amor."
Leah buried her face deeper against Aurora, hiding a bit as she took a few deep breaths. But Aurora could feel something warm and wet against her skin and stilled her hand, gently lifting Leah's head to look at her. Leah's eyes glistened, tears spilling quietly, though her expression was full of joy.
"Mi amor, why are you crying?" Aurora asked softly, brushing her thumb under Leah's eye to wipe away a tear.
Leah gave a shaky laugh, her cheeks reddening slightly, and she held Aurora's gaze. "I just..." She paused, a mix of emotions flitting across her face. "I never thought I'd actually get to do this with you, Rory. It was always just a dream...a fantasy that felt so far away. And now it's real. We're real. We're married. Properly married."
Aurora's heart melted, and her own eyes softened with the weight of her love for Leah. She cupped Leah's face, gently wiping the remaining tears. "We are married, Le," she said, her voice steady and full of reassurance. "I always knew we would be, someday. I don't think I could ever say yes to anyone else but you."
Leah's lip quivered slightly, and she took a deep breath, her eyes holding Aurora's as she whispered, "Really?"
Aurora nodded, her own heart pounding. "Yes, really. It was always going to be you."
Leah's hand moved to cradle Aurora's cheek, her thumb brushing softly along her jawline. "Then kiss me again," she whispered, voice full of emotion, a little raw.
Aurora leaned down, closing the small distance between them as their lips met in a soft, lingering kiss. It was a kiss that held all their shared years, the struggles, the moments they'd doubted, and the promises they were now keeping. As Leah deepened the kiss, her fingers curling around Aurora's hand, she felt safe, complete, and so loved.
Leah pulled Aurora close, sinking into the soft mattress as Aurora settled atop her, fitting against her perfectly. They kissed, soft but intense, savouring every brush of their lips, every whispered breath between them. Aurora's lips travelled down Leah's face, brushing over her cheek, then her jaw, and finally down her neck, leaving a trail of warmth that made Leah's heart race.
In the quiet moments between kisses, Leah murmured, "What are we going to do with the rings?"
Aurora pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, a small, playful smile dancing on her lips. "I'm going to put mine on my right hand tomorrow and keep it there. It'll be our little secret."
Leah smiled, a bit wistful. "So will I...but when I'm on the pitch, I can't have it on."
Aurora nodded, her fingers gently tracing Leah's jaw. She adopted a mock-stern tone, "That's the only time you're allowed to take it off, okay?"
Leah let out a quiet laugh, her voice tender as she replied, "I never want to take it off." She leaned up, her hand cradling the back of Aurora's neck, and kissed her again, slow and full of promise.
