The Isle of the Lost was cloaked in a perpetual twilight, the remnants of Maleficent's magic clinging to the air like a stubborn smog. Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos stood huddled together, their faces grim. They had returned to their wicked roots, not to relive their villainous pasts, but to confront a new evil that threatened both Auradon and the Isle.

Before they delved into the heart of the decaying castle that served as their enemy's lair, Carlos, his usual bravado faltering, spoke up, "Does anyone know what happened to my mom?"

A tense silence followed. Mal exchanged a worried look with Evie and Jay. None of them had seen Cruella de Vil since their return.

Suddenly, a cackle echoed through the crumbling halls, sending shivers down their spines. Maleficent, Evie Queen, and Jafar emerged from the shadows, their eyes gleaming with malicious delight.

"Looking for this?" Maleficent sneered, holding aloft a familiar fur-covered object. As she tossed it carelessly towards Carlos, their blood ran cold. It was Cruella's prized coat, stained crimson.

Carlos stumbled back, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't believe his eyes. His mother, the woman who, despite her flaws, he had loved, was gone.

Maleficent let out a triumphant laugh. "Your mother was weak, just like her pathetic son," she taunted. "She couldn't handle the power we offered her."

Fueled by rage and grief, Carlos lunged at Maleficent, but Jay pulled him back. "We need a plan," he hissed, his voice tight with anger.

Mal stepped forward, her eyes blazing with defiance. "You may have taken Cruella," she said, her voice dangerously low, "but you won't win. We'll defeat you, just like we did before."

Evie Queen smirked. "Oh, I doubt that, darling. We're stronger than ever. And this time," she added, her eyes glinting with malice, "we won't make the same mistake of underestimating you."

Jafar raised his snake staff, the ruby in its head glowing ominously. "Prepare to meet your doom, you meddling brats!"

But before anyone could make a move, Carlos stumbled back, clutching his head as a wave of dizziness washed over him. A vision, vivid and terrifying, flooded his mind. He saw Mal, her usually vibrant purple hair dull and lifeless, pinned beneath a pile of rubble, her eyes devoid of their usual fire. Evie lay nearby, her magic mirror shattered, a shard piercing her arm, a look of despair etched on her face.

Jay, usually so agile and quick, was trapped in a cage of thorns, blood trickling from wounds inflicted by Jafar's snake staff. And himself? Carlos saw his own form lying motionless, a dark stain spreading across his chest, Maleficent's green magic swirling around him.

The vision shifted, and Carlos found himself looking upon a desolate Auradon. Cinderella's castle, once a symbol of hope and dreams, stood as a twisted monument to Maleficent's cruelty. Belle's beloved library was reduced to ashes. Ariel's voice was silenced forever, and the ocean was a graveyard of marine life. He saw himself, his friends, and the other VKs imprisoned, forced to witness the suffering they could not prevent.

Then, the vision shifted again, focusing on the heroes of Auradon. They were imprisoned in the dungeons beneath the castle. Fairy Godmother was chained to the wall, her magic wand gone. Belle and Beast were confined to a cage, Beast trapped in his monstrous form, both filled with despair. Lonnie and Jane were forced to fight each other in a gladiatorial-style arena for the amusement of the villains. Ben, stripped of his crown and dignity, was forced to kneel before Maleficent.

The visions ended, leaving Carlos gasping for breath, his skin clammy. He looked at his friends, their faces etched with determination, unaware of the grim fate that awaited them.

"Guys, wait!" he choked out, his voice trembling. "I saw something... visions. If we fight them now... we'll lose. We'll all lose."

Mal frowned, concern clouding her features. "What do you mean, lose? Carlos, what did you see?"

He hesitated, struggling to put the horrifying images into words. "I saw... I saw us defeated," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. "Mal, you were... hurt. Evie too. And Jay..." He trailed off, unable to describe the full extent of the horrors he had witnessed.

But then, Mal straightened, her eyes hardening with resolve. "We can't give up," she declared. "We have to fight. For our friends, for Auradon, for ourselves."

Evie and Jay nodded in agreement, their fear giving way to determination. They had faced impossible odds before, and they would do it again.

With a shared look of grim determination, the four VKs charged into the heart of Maleficent's castle, ready to face their enemies. They fought with a ferocity born of desperation, their powers unleashed in a dazzling display of magic and mayhem.

Maleficent, Evie Queen, and Jafar were caught off guard by the sudden attack. They fought back with their own dark magic, but they were no match for the VKs' combined might.

One by one, the villains fell. Maleficent was blasted by Mal's purple flames, Evie Queen was trapped in Evie's illusions, and Jafar was disarmed by Jay's quick reflexes.

Just as the VKs were about to deliver the final blow, a portal of swirling blue flames erupted in the center of the throne room. From it emerged Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, his eyes glowing with an intensity that made the VKs instinctively raise their guard.

"Well, well, well," Hades boomed, his voice echoing through the chamber. "Looks like the little VKs have finally decided to play with the big boys." He glanced at the fallen villains with a smirk. "Though, I see the entertainment has already started."

Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos exchanged glances.

"Dad?" Mal demanded, her voice laced with shock.

Hades chuckled, a sound that crackled with blue fire. "Hey, sweetie," he said, "and I believe these three owe me something." He gestured towards Maleficent, Evie Queen, and Jafar, who were now scrambling to their feet, their faces pale with fear.

"Hades, what are you doing here?" Maleficent sputtered, her voice trembling.

"Collecting on a debt, my dear," Hades replied, his eyes narrowing. "You promised me the Isle, remember?"

Maleficent, Evie Queen, and Jafar exchanged panicked glances. They had clearly made a deal with Hades, one that had backfired spectacularly.

Hades turned his attention to the VKs, a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "And as for you four," he said, "I believe we have a common enemy." He gestured towards the cowering villains. "Shall we?"

Hades, with a flick of his wrist, summoned a wall of blue fire, separating the VKs from the villains. "I'll take care of these three," he said, his voice laced with a chilling calm that promised retribution. "You kids have fun."

Maleficent, Evie Queen, and Jafar, trapped and facing the wrath of the Lord of the Underworld, let out a collective gasp of terror. This was not how they envisioned their victory. Jafar, his usual arrogance gone, stammered, "Hades, we had a deal!"

"Deals are made to be broken," Hades replied with a sinister grin, summoning a cage of smoldering chains that ensnared the three villains. "And you three have outlived your usefulness."

Maleficent snarled, her eyes blazing with defiance. "You think you can defeat us, Hades? We are the Masters of Evil!"

Hades let out a booming laugh that shook the very foundations of the castle. "Please," he scoffed, "you're amateurs. I've been ruling the Underworld since before any of you were even a glimmer in your parents' eyes."

He raised his hands, and the ground beneath the villains began to crack and split, glowing with an infernal light. From the fissures emerged skeletal warriors, their empty sockets burning with blue fire.
