As Michael lead the new angel to be, he clenched his hands into fists.

Every holy cell in Michael's body warned him of danger.

Michael was a warrior, just as Lucian was. When his body became tensed, and his yellow eyes narrowed, everyone should be worried.

"Is something wrong, Michael?" Isabelle asked, looking up at him with those uncanny dark eyes that looked so much like her father's.

Michael rolled his shoulders, his eyes searching around them. He felt as if someone was watching them, intense eyes following their every move. Michael gritted his teeth in frustration when he couldn't sense anyone. Just himself and Isabelle. "There's something wrong, I just don't know what." He muttered.

He kept walking, his body positioned behind Isabelle, as if to protect her from the monsters that hid in the shadows of the castle, eyes hungry for what is about to come.

Michael briefly wondered what was wrong. He had warriors surrounding ever inch of the castle and yet he could feel the auras of beings... not humans exactly. He could smell them, smell the blood in there veins, but he knew they weren't all that human.

Michael clenched his jaw in worry. Whatever was with them, it was unnatural. It was evil, meant for chaos and destruction. For death.

In all his years of being a warrior, he had never sensed beings like this.

He paused, tilted his head, his eyes narrowing in concentration. They had traces of demon, human, and... his eyes widened in horror.

His heart clenched in his chest and he hurriedly talked to Isabelle. Every instinct in his body telling him to run, to warn, to protect. "Don't leave my side, when we find Raziel go to him. I need to patrol the perimeter. Something is going to happen, I can feel it." He growled.

He had to talk to Gabriel. Gabriel was their father's messenger, maybe their father had told him something.

It was useless, a part of him knew Gabriel didn't know. But faith was all he had, he had to have faith that there was someting.

Isabelle nodded, they kept walking and entered the ballroom. Michael's eyes found Raziel's.

You sense it too? Raziel asked in his head.

Archangels had the ability to talk to one another in their head.

I do, I don't know what it is. Michael told him. He walked to Raziel and Isabelle ran into Raziel's arms.

Michael took a step back, ready to leave. Make sure nothing gets past the wards, even if just for a moment. Isabelle is strong, I have faith she will be able to protect herself if something happens. We just need time, Raziel said with conviction.

Michael turned away and ran, he took out his bow and his body tensed with worry.

Time is something we do not have, brother. Michael said.

He ran outside and his eyes widened in fear as he saw what was outside. Thousands of men in dark armor stood right outside the castle. In front of them, there they were.

The creatures that were made from evil created for destruction.

Michael looked at the rest of the warriors and they nodded.

Michael roared and they went into battle.
