~1 week later~

"Iz!" My aunt, Vee, shrieked.

"What?" I asked alarmed. We were in the middle of a dress store, and my aunt just started flailing her arms like a chicken, and shrieking my name over and over.

Why is everyone in my life so crazy?

"I found the perfect dress for you!" She said excitedly. When she saw my hesitant expression she rolled her eyes. "Don't worry. It's black. And tight!"

I was relieved, I absolutely did not like having anything that wasn't black. My laptop at home was black, my iPod, my iPhone, my car. Everything.

I walked over to her and I almost dropped dead. The dress she was holding was gorgeous! She was absolutely right. The dress was black, and it was tight. Just the way I liked it. The dress had a cut out on the back, so you could see my tanned skin. The dress had sleeves and at the cuffs there were black and white diamonds. The dress ended at mid thigh.

"Vee! I love it!" I whispered.

"Go try it on, Isabelle!" She clapped her hands excitedly. "You're so tall and so damn beautiful. It'll be absolutely amazing on you." She rushed me into the dressing room.

When I got inside, I immediately took my clothes off and slipped on the dress. After it was on I looked at myself in the mirror and I freaked.

The dress really complimented my tan skin. The dress hugged my body and it didn't look bad on me at all. The dress complimented my height and this was just amazing. The perfect dress.

I looked at myself once more in the mirror. Did I really want to take this dress to the dance with Ben? I had no idea why, but I wanted to save this dress. I had a feeling I would need it. So I slipped it off and put my clothes back on.

I walked out of the dressing room and saw Vee talking to someone. They were talking in hushed voices and I strained to hear them.

The guy she was talking to looked young. His back was to me and I couldn't see his face. He was tall with black hair.

I shrugged. It wasn't polite to listen in to other people's conversation. So I went to pay for the dress and I grabbed another black dress. It wasn't as gorgeous as the one I had just tried on, but it was still pretty. I walked to the front of the store and payed for my things. It was a total of three hundred dollars. But I shrugged. My dad wouldn't care.

Once I got everything I looked for Vee and saw she was gone. Where could she have gone?

I shrugged. Good thing I brought my car. I walked past stores and then I stopped. Something... someone caught my eye.

Who I saw was a man. He was in a shoes store. But what was odd about this guy was that he was really tall. Almost 7 feet. I walked close to the shop and something in me, made me think that whoever that man was, was not human. He had a supernatural power, you could just feel it. I looked at him closely.

The man was wearing a black leather jacket with grey jeans. He had a red ball cap on. He looked odd among those in the shop. I could tell he didn't belong among those people. I looked at him even more intently and saw he had blond hair. His face was sharp. Nothing about the way this man looked was soft.

As if sensing someone watching him, he turned around and saw me. His eyes narrowed at the sight of me. He started walking towards the entrance of the shop and something told me I had to run.

And that something was Stark. He must've felt my anxiety and slight kick of adrenaline. Iz, you have to run. Don't let whoever that is catch up to you. Now. He ordered.

I didn't want to run in the mall. So I started speed walking. My long strides getting faster. The bag that had my two dresses was slapping against my leg. I ignored it. I heard someone mutter "excuse me" in a dark voice. I did not dare look back. I kept walking until I was outside. Once outside, I took off into a run. Thank the lords I didn't wear my wedge boots. I had on black converse and I ran until I was caught in a wave of people.

Don't look lost. Pretend you have somewhere to be. Walk opposite of where your car is. Circle the mall and then go into the garage and get your car. Do it. Stark ordered. Usually I didn't like being told what to do, but I had to make an exception. Stark knew what he was doing and he was trying to comfort me while telling me what to do.

I did as he said. I took my phone out and dialed Lily's number. "Hey girl." I said, almost breathless.

"Iz!" She said excitedly. "I got my dress!"

I looked everywhere. My senses open. If that man was close I would feel that wave of power he let go of when I first saw him. "Me too. What color is yours?" I asked. I couldn't feel anything.

Don't look back.

I was grateful for Stark. Who knows? He might've saved my life without even knowing it.

"It's red! It looks almost like blood but that doesn't matter. It looks so beautiful! What about yours? What color is it? Wait no, don't answer. It's black."

"You know me so well." I said as I was getting ready to enter the public garages. I took the elevator to the fourth flight. "Hey Lily, I'm going to be driving so I'll talk to you in a bit." And then I hung up.

I walked until I saw my black Acura. Once inside I threw my bag in the backseat and quickly turned the ignition on. I reversed and when I was about to go straight I stopped in horror. The man was standing right in front of the car. Just a few feet away.

He looked at me and I looked back at him. And then he grinned. Nothing about this man was good. I could tell. We stayed the same. Unmoving. And then he stepped back. His lips started to move. I looked at his lips and I was able to confirm what he just said.

Tell your father that we're back.

And then he walked away.
