The second I woke up, I wished I hadn't.
Pain filled every cell and nerve in my body. Memories of what happened haunted my mind and I wished with all my strength I had that I would get amnesia. Those memories were terrible and horrifying.
What happened to me a while ago was a living nightmare. I groaned loudly at the pain in my head. It was killing me. It felt like something was breaking my skull from the inside out.
I took a long deep breath as I leaned my head back against the chair. I didn't dare look at myself. I knew I would find blood. My blood.
I groaned again. The pain was killing me!
I narrowed my eyes on one of the instruments of torture that were used on me. It was fairly close to me.
I could've died.
I should have died. Nobody would've been able to survive the things I went through.
A small tear escaped the corner of my eye when I thought about what had happened to me. I wasn't the same anymore. I could already feel that I would never be the same. Being tortured for days was something that would change you forever. And it sure changed me.
It was time to get my plan into action. I groaned when the rope damaged the skin at my wrists even more. Blood was dripping down because of it. I maneuvered the chair and my body so that my hand would be able to get ahold of the dagger. Gasping in surprise, I actually got ahold of it. I pressed the tip of the dagger against the rope and I got to cutting.
I swear I almost cried my life out when the rope just broke. I didn't cry. I wouldn't. At least not now.
I stood up and I moaned in pain. I was healing in an abnormally fast rate. I shouldn't have been able to walk but here I am, walking. I closed my eyes and inhaled sharply. "Cmon, Iz. Find a way out and then cry about the pain." I muttered to myself.
With my newly found courage, I started walking. I had numbed my body from the excruciating pain but I felt pain nonetheless. I walked until I saw the door that Starla walked in and out.
I shook my head in disbelief when I saw that it wasn't locked. Escaping seemed easier and... odd. It was much too easy.
Cautious, I gripped the dagger to my chest and opened the door.
There was nothing but darkness and something told me that I had to go in the darkness. It was dangerous to bring light. So, taking a deep breath, I went to the left.
I touched the walls with my hands and hoped like hell that it would lead me out of this place. Again, something told me that was easier said than done.
I kept walking and I stood stalk still when realization hit me like a brick wall. My head didn't hurt anymore. A few seconds ago my head felt like it would explode with each step I took. Now, there was only a light pounding in my head. Most likely from dehydration and hunger.
Magic. Something in my mind whispered.
Confused, I took seven steps back and I almost collapsed by the breathtaking pain that attacked my head. Shaking my head, I walked as fast as I could and I sighed in relief when I felt no more crippling pain. Well, from my head. The pain from my body wounds were a whole different matter.
It was like something, some kind of spell or something, was there. That whoever was trapped in there was forced to have this excruciating pain and when you left that spot, the pain was gone. The pain was forced into you with no reason.
This was all very confusing, and even though my head didn't feel like it would explode anymore, I still had a headache. So I kept those thoughts out of my head and I kept walking.
I walked for what felt like hours, anxiety eating away at me. Each step I took could be to my freedom or my doom.
Each step I took could either take my home, or to them.
Each step I took my resolve thrived. I needed to see Raz, I needed to see my family, Ben, my friends, dads studio.
Luc...
I was going to leave and nothing would stop me. I will fight like hell if I have to because I am not giving up. I will not. The pain was almost crippling but I needed to get out of here. And I will.
I groaned at the nagging pain in my foot but I kept walking. I turned through so many corners and walked down so many corridors.
What the hell is this place? It was vastly large and cage-like. Like it was meant to hold something in.
The walls were filled with rocks and dirt. So was the ground. It hurt walking but it had to be done.
When I got out of here, I will find Starla and I will make her regret doing this to me. I was incapable of hurting another being to the point of unconsciousness but the rage and anger that bubbled inside me had me seeing red.
I was in pain, I was bloody, all because of her. And she hadn't given me a single reason why she did those things to me. I will get those reasons even if it is the last thing I do.
Clenching my fists I kept walking. Nothing will prevent me from going home. Not even death. I will go through hell just to see my family again, Raz and.... Luc.
As I was walking through a corridor I had taken, I stopped frozen in my tracks. There was light. Not only that, it was sunlight.
I gulped and hoped that it wasn't a figment of my imagination, that this was really happening. I really needed this to happen.
Taking a shaky breath, I went forward. I almost cried when I saw that it really was sunlight.
I walked out and I gasped when I felt the full force of the pain. It was much worse than the pain of my head. I cried out in pain and without wanting, I collapsed.
My body hit the ground and my mind shut off into oblivion seconds later.

Sorry it took so long to update! I had writers block and after hearing my favorite playlist on Spotify, I finally had an idea.
For the record, I did not want to mention the things done to Iz. It is a part of my plan. The story of what happened to Iz will be said in a later chapter that will literally make you cry. I assure you ;)
